Ur forgetting that harden is only 23 and has lots of room to improve. If this team makes the playoffs, its gr8 cuz our guys are so young. The future looks bright

I totally agree with you, but we are obviously in the minority. Well, at least KMart is deliriously happy.

He is the no 1 guy for this season only. Im sure in the offseason a run will be made for howard, bynum or marc gasol. Trading for love or aldridge is also possible

Well, Hollinger disagrees with you and he was the number one forecaster out of 30 last season at espn. There's no reasonable way to see this as anything but a major coup.

Right? Harden shared the floor with 2 incredible scorers and still was able to average over 19ppg on a per 36 minute basis.

The fact the Rockets still have the capability to offer max money to a free agent next offseason....and the fact they've just made themselves a lot more attractive to those free agents...is reason for optimism.

Howard is a 1-year rental whereas we got Harden for 6 years.

not to mention, he averaged 30 points per 36 with even greater efficiency and passing numbers when Durant/Westbrook weren't on the floor.

I wonder how much of a factor the beard played in this trade? Do the Rockets make this trade if Harden doesn't have that crazy beard? Some people know Harden more for his beard than for his basketball. Could be a marketing tool for the Rockets and Les. It's going to be hard for U-Verse and DirctTV not to cave in and accept the offer from Comcast sportsNet now that we have both Lin and the Beard. The Beard will fill some seats at Toyota Center.

time to revisit those 'Brow trade ideas with New Orleans?
Lin, Beard, 'Brow, now that's marketing potential. Lin could go bald, and that big 3 would still have more hair than any other big 3.

Why didnt OKC have a look at Jazz and their big men? After Ibaka and Perkins, the Thunder are dangerously short after trading Aldrich, they should've gone for Millsap + Hayward (Although I doubt teh Jazz would be willing to do that?).

Alot of the folks were happy when we offerd Eric Gordon that massive contract but are now questioning is Harden who is a superior player worth the max.

Hayward looks good right now. But the Jazz would be silly not to consider it.

    This is a great Trade.
Harden is a proven player. I see more value there than the hope of Toronto's pick and Lamb.
