You have to give a lot to get a lot. Yes Morey did well, so did Presti.

@WojYahooNBA: Thunder pushed final offer to Harden to 4 years, $53M-$54M, sources tell Y! When that couldn't get deal done, Presti moved into trade mode.

lowry is irrelevant. he didn't want to stay to begin with.

i'm going to miss lamb. really liked his game, but he still seems a bit young/raw. he'll be great for okc eventually. nice trade for both sides.

I feel like Harden will be like a joe Johnson. He was a good player on a stacked Phx team. He was definitely better when he left to atl but he's kinda a superstar but not really. Not sure if max deal will be worth it to keep him.

The best thing about it is that we still keep our own pick. Splash!

    Great move!

This bring us back into the playoff race...

I liked Martin and wish him the best. When he's ins best he delivers numbers out of this world.

But, Harden, only 23, still huge upside. We can be championship contender in two years..

Yep, I'm with you. I know people see harden as a superstar, but I don't know of many superstars sitting on the bench behind a guy like sefolosha. I mean, being a star or superstar means being demanding and pushing everyone. Harden to me is more like joe hohnson vs a wade type of guy. He's a guy who really don't want the mantle of carrying a franchise. Make no mistake, he's gonna have toe pressure of being the guy because he's the closest thing they have to a all star caliber player. Giving up martin and lamb isn't a whole lot to give up.

HOW IS THIS GOOD? PLEASE, SOMEONE TELL ME?

YES, we have finally gotten a star player in Harden who is only gonna get better, but so what?

like someone else mentioned, we have an average point guard, an up and coming sf & pf, and an average center.

Will we make playoffs? Yeah, probably 7th or 8th seed, but I want to see another MAJOR move done by the rockets before i start getting excited.

Why are you guys happy about us making the playoffs with 7th or 8th seed? That would mean we would play the thunder or lakers, and i hope to God none of you here think we would stand a chance against them.

-On the bright side......the toronto pick is probably not gonna be so high, the raptors are looking pretty decent.

This is how I feel and I feel like Harden, while better than Martin, is not to the point that I'm going to be saying "WE CHAMPIONSHIP NOW" and stuff.

Speaking of which, while watching the Finals I always thought his defense was complete CRAPOLA. Can anyone that watches OKC more regularly comment on this for me please?

Like the trade. But Morey better lock him up long-term.
