Now having said that, and looking 6 months, a year or 2 in the future, what are some of your currently strongly held opinions that may prove wrong down the road?
Well I don't think anyone truly knew for any amount of certainty that Harden would be this good. I think only NBA insiders know how good he is. From one of my friend who is a huge Thunder fan, coming out of the Olympic basketball trial training Lebron and Wade said Harden was actually one of the best players at the training. I guess it all makes sense now.
You was saying some ridiculous 5h!t dude...lol. I was just reading through the thread when I saw that stuff you where saying and then I kicked to the last page and you're being put on blast about it... It takes a big man to admit he was wrong, BUT ----> you was bumpin your gums with all of your basketball knowledge a lil too hard not to get laughed at... Hahahahaha...!!!
kind of funny that some of the same trolls that always have something negative to say in the garm game threads were dissing the trade. I thought harden was a superstar and better than westbrook before he even got here, nice to see harden has taken it to another lever.

hindsight. I was on the fence at the time because I thought Harden was a "second tier" star. I quickly knew I had been wrong the first game he played as a Rocket. For those who gloat about this, how many of you were wrong about Yao, Landry, Parsons, Dragic, Lowry, Lin, or Asik? On the flip side, how many of you were wrong about Royce White?

When I saw the words Rockets have landed on the frontpage of clutchfans just now, I thought we just traded for someone
Its funny how some people on this thread were complaining about how this was a bad move because of his performance in the finals and the Toronto Pick (Steven Adams)
So basically, it came down to: Courtney Lee --> Charlotte 2013 2nd Round Pick --> Alex Abrines Jordan Hill --> Dallas Pick (top 20 protected thru 2018) Kyle Lowry --> Toronto Lottery Pick --> Steven Adams Kevin Martin (expiring) Jeremy Lamb for James Harden, Lazar Hayward (waived, had to eat 1.17m contract), Daequan Cook (waived, had to eat most of his 3.09m contract), Cole Aldrich So the bolded items above and ~4m cash, for the top ranked SG in the league, and a year of Cole Aldrich. I'll do that 100 times out of 100.
