The rockets can’t shoot

You got to remember the Rockets role players fit like a puzzle. They have good chemistry until someone gets hurt then the entire line-up is weakened. But thats what you get when you have veteran minimum roleplayers

 

Imagine replacing Durant with Harden.

Klay and Steph wide open every damn drive.

 

And brick. And brick. And brick. And brick. those hilites aren't cool

 

Yes, its really obvious. No one here wants to talk about the defense. It's like many are resigned to that fact that we have a HORRIBLE defense and that we just have to out score people to win. Thats not how it works, you need a top 10 offense and defense to win in this league(a championship) and right now we look terrible defensively. Our perimeter defenders are worse, and our rebounding % is bottom of the league.

We are bad. I would trade for impact defenders with serviceable shots. James Johnson is perfect and so is MKG, I would give up a first for MKG.

 

Only a 5.3% difference this year. That isn't much? Is it?

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: with the historic rate we’re launching three pointers, if we’re not the best at it then there’s always room for improvement.

Defense and rebounding are bigger priorities right now, since those areas are exponentially boosted with a healthy CP3 and CC, but even when we’re 100% (go ahead and pause for laughter), we’re still going to need better shooting.

 

Damn you hahaha. I guess this is how you become even more hated after being the most hated team.

 

No way. Listen, I know he hasnt been that good this season but that's crazy.

 

Defense was still bad with CP and Clint unfortunately.

 

We need Steve Novak to come back from the grave.

 

You guys need to remember. Morey did bring us a sharpshooter. His name was Ryan Anderson.

Among all the elite shooters out there, Morey chose to bank on Ryno. SMH.

 

The dollars were (and stll are) always questionable but Morey did pick the best shooters that summer to sign in Gordon and Anderson.

Great defenders with serviceable shots> Elite shooters. We've seen that last year.

 

Remind me again, were we going to be able to sign both Redick and PJ Tucker that summer, or just one of them?

Do we have a shooting coach? How bad is Austin's wrist? Has CP3 been working on his 3? Is Faried going to be averaging 2 3's a game now? Will House's 3-shot dip when he signs back with guaranteed money?
