The Rockets Atrocious Record at Home - What Gives?

Yep, the Rockets are really lackadaisacal at home, just awful. Especially when they play on Sundays (too often). They just don't show up. Too much home cooking, not enough urgency.

 

Charles Barkley infuriated this board by calling the Rockets "soft."

His comment was wide of the mark, but not by much. The Rockets are not soft - rather, they lack concentration and professionalism. This results in a lack of consistency. The team just "assumes" it's going to win far too many games without putting serious effort into making that result occur.

 

Come on. We have some tired legs and luck didnt go our way either. We fought hard in some of the games and came out with wins. Dont self-doubt. We are fine, we just need to pull thru the last month of the season.

 

That's why I love those two guys. They have so much fire in their hearts. Their reveal their passion and let they emotions all out on the court.

 

More road than Home wins How do you explain it?

Rockets have 24 road wins and 22 home wins. Phoenix and Houston are the only teams that have a better road than home record. That translates very well for the playoffs, because it means that they are not intimidated and they feel they can beat any team, but how do you explain it?

rockets lost a lot of close ones at home and these were at the beginning of the season before the trades which have changed the face of this team. also there is only 1 road game left and 4 home games so the home record could be better at the end of the season if the rockets run the table
