After T-Mac, name me an above-average athlete the Rockets have, relative to their position.

Sura has decent athleticism, but as a PG, he is too slow.

Mo and Howard cannot jump at all. Yao moves slower than a turtle. Jim Jackson is built more like a PF than a SF. I don't need to say much about Ward, Padgett, etc.

The Rockets seriously need a perimeter player who can fill the lanes on the break. If we keep playing like this and end up with a top 10 pick, I hope they get Gerald Green.

What else is new? Look who we got in that trade! We have the highest average age of anyteam in the league!

CD please give us a 21y/o who has a vertical!

Sura, Boki, Barrett are pretty athletic.

We thought that we needed players with better basketball IQ. We needed to surround Yao with veteran players. Players that wouldn't turn the ball over and would follow the game plan.

    So we did that.

Unfortunately those veteran players "savvy" isnt coming CLOSE to making up for the lack for athleticism, spirit and fight that the younger players have.

And we are suffering for it.

The Tmac trade was a good one. But we are STILL suffering from not having Griffin pan out. Not having Nachbar pan out or even Terence Morris. If those YOUNG guys, draft picks, would have panned out like the type of players that Dallas and San Antonio drafts then this team would STILL have youth. If we had kept Posey we still would have youth.

Hopefully inf the future we can find some young players to add to the core.
