If we weren't be asked to give up one of our other core pieces, I would agree that we missed out. Also, it depends on if we would be getting Olympics Melo or normal Melo.
Well true, but that's what OKC will basically trot out in the regular season minus RW & PPat. Granted, a lot of other teams have way more competent benches, but then again most don't have a starting 5 like OKC either.
I just wish EG had a little more hop's he seems glued to the floor at times, however I only care about the crisp shooting he brings along with his pesky defense.
Back injury robbed Gordon of greatness. He could sky early in his career. But he did compensate well and became one of the best shooters in the Association.
I wanted the rockets to get him, during that whole Pau, CP3 debacle. Always been a scorer and love how he has adjusted his game. I think the style he plays here can get a good 4-5 solid years at a high level especially with CP3 in the fold. *Edit* I wanted him over Pau.
Yeah... Okay. You see those wide open 3s Anderson gets? What about the times Ryno tries to create off the dribble? Melo is also a better defender, dude. Melo as the third option here is ridiculous.
Klay is a cool dude. My favorite guy on the GS roster, but man he's so overated its crazy. He could never lead a team. Totally limited passer, ball handler and a bit overated defender (still a good one but not as they make him to be). He Fits perfect in their system and accept his role but I really think EGO is a better overall player. Harden is in a completely different universe of these two, but the fit of Gordon with Paul might be better than Paul and Harden. (Also Harden with Gordon, thats why Gordon is so valuable).
Gordon will once again be the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year, two Rockets in top 8 MVP votings, Harden top 3. Melo will come in the offseason and LeBron will take a serious look. If not LeBron, maybe DeAndre or Cousins.
