PF is the fifth option on offense. I do not see an issue with having 2/3 younger players filling that role. Jones and DMo both have good shots so one could see them developing into something more than the fifth option. Defense is another story. But getting out and running on fast breaks should help and tire their opponent out.
I wouldn't put too much stock into this. Morey obviously doesn't give a damn about any sort of financial flexibility next year. And he's also more desperate for raw talent than at any time before, with most of the accumulated assets gone. So it's only more natural that he'd be more aggressive with undrafted rookies. To me, the only thing to watch out for is whether or not Morey will add salary to the 2015 offseason, when Lin and Asik are scheduled to come off the books. Before then, I imagine Morey would throw money fairly recklessly for any chance at hitting pay dirt.
How I wish things would shake out: Starters: Bev Harden Parsons DMO Howard Second Unit: Lin Williams Garcia TJones Asik I think that Lin will technically start but believe he will slowly be pushed into a 6th man role where he can really dominate the ball. I think DMO's hard work will pay off for him. Asik and Howard may play together during certain matchups. I actually believe that second unit could be deadly.
