2-0 Red Bulls. Goal by Juan Pablo Angel in the 36th minute. Maybe the run is over...

    2-0 New York

We need something. Anything. Nobody is connecting on their passes and we're getting served by a lesser team.

Ching has the goalie one on and one he went for the header and the goalie snatched it while he was going for it.

Brad Davis needs to be taken out - the injury has left us with no speed on the left side. Stuart Holden and Geoff Cameron can create something better than what we're doing now.

That's the end. Good season, Dynamo. We couldn't get it done when it mattered, most though.

    3-0 New York.

Just too many games this year (most ever by a MLS team). Nice run by the Dynamo. Time to reload and get ready for 2009.

As a consolation prize...if we focus on the Champions cup can we get a chance to play against one of the Premier League teams or something....cause that would be fun even if we (probably) lose.

It was just one of those games where you can't find the back of the net no matter what. Unfortunately for the Dynamo it happened today.
DeRo was invisible today, the ref sucked big time also.
Dane Richards keeps getting better and better. He has to be the quickest player in MLS since DaMarcus Beasley. I would have loved to see both guys go up against each other on the flank.

I would venture to say that today's loss has solidified the Dynamo as a "Houston team." Since they've been here, we've been conditioned to unparalleled success not just in MLS and international tournaments, but in terms of Houston sporting history. As fans of Houston, we have to admit that we're used to more heartbreak than failure; the Astros, Rockets, Oilers and now the Dynamo have all taken us before to the precipice of success only to falter at the end in dramatic and unpredictable fashion. I won't include the Texans in the list as for six years, they've only shown us a culture of losing. Nobody saw the loss today coming and Glenn Davis called it one of, if not the, biggest upsets in the history of MLS. So now, rather than celebrating another championship at the end of November, the Dynamo will have to adjust and plug holes.

One thing this loss does for me is give me grief about our stadium situation. First off, only a fool would flat out blame today's loss on the field conditions at Robertson, but they did not help. It was closer to the turf at Giants Stadium, a surface the Dynamo have historically been terrible on, than grass that soccer is supposed to be played on. Oliver Luck recently said that a deal had to be done by the end of the year. That's a month and a half in a situation that's been going on practically since the Dynamo arrived here. And to date, the city and county have been incredibly hesitant to throw a bone to an organization that's willing to put up at least 90% of construction costs. Sure, the city purchased the land in the near East End for the stadium, but they'll make use of that no matter what. If the Dynamo had gone on to win a third straight MLS Cup, that would have been the catalyst that guaranteed a deal. Now, I think we'll have to keep clawing with the county for that $10 million. And to think, if the deal had been signed off on sooner, it would have been $80 million rather than the predicted $110 million now.

30,000 fans at an MLS game is STRONG. Good for Houston....good for the Dynamo. Glad to have them here!

It is bittersweet to see my Dynamo lose in this manner, before the cup game. :(

Even the Univision guys doing the América - Monterrey game were praising the great season by our Dynamo. I am here to say I am proud of our Houston team.

    VAMOS, DYNAMO, vamos.
