Adelman is better one. NO Brown. We do not need a JVG clone.

Van Gundy hasn't done anything wrong while Larry Brown ran his team into the ground. ANd you want to hire Larry Brown? If we were firing Van Gundy, I'd hire Adelman twice before hiring Larry Brown. He may be a good coach, but he's a nutcase.

We dont need another recycled coach, we need PLAYERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Larry Brown cant hit 3's, play defense or rebound.

A coach is only as good as his players make him, and JVG has crap for players outside of Yao and Tmac.

Ohhhh this was about Larry Brown. I thought by "right coach for this team is about to be available" you meant by:

    1. Rudy
    2. Adelman
    3. SVG
    4. Paul Westphal

All of whom are much better candidates than Larry "I'm not a coach; I'm a prima donna" Brown for the pseudo-coaching job vacancy we are all planning for.

If you were to ask me out of the two high maintenance coaches available I would pick Rick Adelman because he definitely brings something ot the table that Jeff does not good offense, he scouts well and trusts his young players. Larry is a great coach he is to me a better version of Jeff Van Gundy we would have a better but have a bad offense and be in a similar situation.

If I was to get rid of Jeff Van Gundy it would be for one of two coaches and they are the current and previous caoches of the Lakers. Phil would instill a winning attitude to this team and truely bring the best out of every players on this team and we will be good on both sides of the ball. We would have to wait till next year when jeff contract runs out and correct me if I am wrong Phil has an ooption on whether he still wants to coach the Lakers.

Last but not least Rudy T if health is not an issue he was one of the best at operating the offense from the post to the perimeter which is the type of coach we need not of fan of his scouting, but he also is great at getting the best out of his players and that included Steve Francis and Cuttino Mobley, look at Steve now.

And the way he deals with stuff outside the locker with the media is just stupid, that is a headache we don't need. Say what you will about Van Gundy but he takes responsiblilty for the teams preformance and does not hang his team out to dry in front of the media.

This is what happens when You own the majority of Shares of a public company and that company owns a high priced arena and team like the knicks!

The press was all over the 6500 dollar shower curtain a former CEO had? What about this? This is the most disgusting way of spending money especially of a public company

If LB becomes our coach, I will cancel my League pass and stop coming to clutchfans.net.

To me, he is the Karl Malone of coaches.

My vote for the next head coach of the Rox is Greg Anthony. He's knows his b-ball and has no lingering health problems and wouldn't command 10 mil per year.

I like JVG as a coach. But, the way he bashes the team after games can't be good for morale or confidence of the team.

I also like LB, but he's too smart for CD. The Rox would end up having to pay him 50 mil for a year's work. I love the way everyone bashes LB after one bad season.

wow, one bad year with the worst gm in nba history and we're saying brown ran his team into the ground? Come on now.

He took the 6'ers to the finals, won with the pistons and historically kicks ass. Yes, he's a nutcase to work with, but the knicks was a travesty that no man could correct except if Zeke took over the head coaching job.

Are you seriously blaming Brown for the Knicks sad state? There is not a coach alive that could help that team.

Did we really need to start another thread like this?

We already have a coach who the players love and clearly play hard for. And if your fagile little minds can't believe that then just look at how hard the guys played for him toward the end of the season last year, even when we were officially out of the playoff hunt...

Oh how I long for the days on the BBS GARM when we had meaningful threads... :(
