    Possible, but it would take intense desire from Amare to be a Laker. A TMac scenario is what you are suggesting.

    With the Suns & Lakers being in the same division, Phoenix would be loathe to do it.

    lakers still a good team but it will take them time to be great again, i mean look at the gap between magic and shaq/kobe

    I agree with Milos completely. LA made the only prudent decision that it could. Shaq has "salary cap albatros" written all over him. 2 years -at most - and he's a team crippling liability.

    Kobe will almost certainly be a great player for the duration of his contract. With the talent LA got in return for Shaq, they're a Kenyon Martin away from being the best team in the league again. Not bad at all.
