The issue is the Republican Party no longer has any policy principles except Trump. There’s nothing conservative about their platform. Trump is very much a diety or false idol. So when someone like JD steps in the only thing he can do to stay relevant for the cause is preach from the book of Trump and somehow be able to credibly say he’s following Trumps commandments. Which therein lies the problem. Trump is often a contradiction to himself, and because he lies about obvious things and those lies are about his biggest policy ideas (ie Mexico is going to pay for it) JD will fail. There is no Trump text or bible he can follow and keep the base in line. So we are in for some craziness when that day comes. It’ll be like in game of thrones when king Robert died. Only way dumber and more annoying. I think RFK has a better chance at taking over honestly because at least he has his own cult that has its own base of nuts and the capability of absorbing many of Trumps nuts who will believe anything and everything as long as it’s a snake oil con artist selling it to them.
The question will break down to two parties within the Party TRUMPERS and the TECHBROs Trump is the only thing holding that coalition together JD maybe TOO techbro for the Trumps People like Marjorie Taylor Green might see this as their opportunity (not necessarily her but someone like her) There are opportunists waiting Fortunately for Vance . . . that person is not in the Cabinet IMO Rocket River
With a little more time to groom more people into buying his snake oil do you think RFK could get there? I mean it would be like going from one cult to another but isn’t where if you are susceptible to one cult aren’t you susceptible to all? I guess that’s a question for smarter folks than me about the human condition.
He still a Kennedy That name alone is enough keep him out the big seat IMO Some of his non-medical ideas may not align with their sensativities He is seen as a turncoat democrat He is only "maga" because of bribe/favor trading .. . not "True MAGA" Rocket River
J.D. Vance questioned whether Trump is like Hitler Opioid of the Masses To many, Donald Trump feels good, but he can’t fix America’s growing social and cultural crisis, and the eventual comedown will be harsh. By J. D. Vance The great tragedy is that many of the problems Trump identifies are real, and so many of the hurts he exploits demand serious thought and measured action—from governments, yes, but also from community leaders and individuals. Yet so long as people rely on that quick high, so long as wolves point their fingers at everyone but themselves, the nation delays a necessary reckoning. There is no self-reflection in the midst of a false euphoria. Trump is cultural heroin. He makes some feel better for a bit. But he cannot fix what ails them, and one day they’ll realize it.
im not sure what a couple tweets and AI art work has to do with reality. Why do you lefts dwell in fantasy hell so much? Is general happiness not an option for you all?
im just pointing out that its trumpers who are obsessed with political nepotism. why do accuse others of doing what trumpers are actually doing? is general happiness not an option for you?
probably more accurate to say that Trumpers are obsessed with trolling libs as they are trolling here
Lol!! That’s the reality we have been living past 10 years. That is the reality we had to engage and defend/protest in conversations. The concept of reality sure took a weird turn !!
we know thats your shtick in there mr "registered democrat", but thats not what is happening with his cult...many of whom have called for a trump dynasty.
