I'd like to see some old school uniforms colors. I like the current stuff, but a little variety wouldn't hurt. They could be mini-Sirloin burgers but would the Hambugerler steal a non-McDonald sandwich?
surprisingly this is old news to people on a sixers board Just saw the 2009-10 NBA Identity and Logo/Color Preferences chart. Said the Sixers #1 color is red, 2nd is blue, and 3rd is silver. So they will be adding silver to their old identity. Haven't seen logos or anything yet. Golden State's says their primary colors for use are only navy and orange--no gold. Also lists that the wordmark version in the primary with the bolt across the top should not be used. Utah has also phased out the Mountain/Ball logo. Charlotte's says their primary color is Bobcats Blue, secondary is orange. Think of the endorsements by McDonalds. If Tracy comes back, we can do a commercial..."Tmac with a BigMac" Actually, anything would be better than the current jerseys. They are so dull, and the logo is so bad.
Tertiary basically means 3rd to keep it simple for all of you who think we are getting a yellow jersey for some reason. The Yellow is an accent, the jerseys will still be white at home and red away. I'm thinking it's going to be an old school flavor alternate. Tiger, these charts pertain to their main jerseys, not throwback nights or anything like that, right?
Someone should send this to whoever is in charge of making the alternative uniforms for us. That is every nice work.
BTW, We should add a little more gold into all the Rockets logos and the court too cause that thing is ugly.
I would make the font color white on the red one. The side blocks can stay yellow. That would make it a blend of the old with the new or a modernized old school jersey. I hope they modernize the old logo and uniform, much like the Piston did from their turquoise days to today
