Dude, you're pointing to one game and saying that the Mavs have/will be getting the benefit of the refs calls and its all due to monetary means. I really don't know how much more ridiculous this can get. Please give me more games in which the mavs have gotten the benefit of the refs calls and we can compare that to a few other teams around the league. So ridiculous its beyond words.
Any/every nba fan knows that Cuban pissed off nba refs the past few seasons so much that it began to irritate some of his players and coaching staff, tho most of them kept their mouths shut. Dirk finally opened his mouth this past summer to tell Cuban to cool it.

NBA refs showed no more preferential treatment to the mavs over the past couple of years than they've showed to other teams.

Yeah, it wasnt a whole lot(the bad calls/nocalls), but it was enough to get under the Warriors' skin. They lost their cool for sure, but the original technical foul series was off, shoulda been a double T on Barnes/Terry but was Jackson/Terry and one thrown in for Davis as well.

o i c, when "your team (ala the Warriors)" is getting the short end of the stick on the calls, the refs are totally incompetent. but when your team (ala the Rockets) are getting twice as many free throws, it's b/c they were aggressive. yea, we're unbiased fans.

    um... i'll ignore this...

just wondering though.. have you seen some of the ridiculous phantom calls?
and why can't fans react this way.. you know what

f it. i'm a biased fan i don't give a shlt. you can sit there, in your conservative little couch.. and cheer the refs on all you want.

for me.. it's all rockets and everyone else aint fair enough. so f you and f the mavs.

LOL. calm down there buddy. you're right, i'm really cheering for the refs.

and yes, i've seen the "phantom calls". it's the same calls you'd defend if they were in favor of the rockets. yet, it's the same calls the Jazz fans whine about. so which one is it? are the refs fair b/c the Rockets were aggressive or are they ridiculous b/c Yao and T-mac get the superstar calls?

to me, i think it's fair except for maybe 1-2 calls per game they give to yao.

and it's not this that makes me mad.. it's the fact that the refs buy into calls like howard RUNNING INTO oberto and then fliailing his arms up and he got shot..

or dirk throwing his hands up and someone steals the ball. or devin harris playing like an anorexic child half the time. that's what really pisses me off.

and b/c the refs buy into, they in turn, piss me off too.

The rockets do this, but not as often, and i rarely see our superstars doing this. they just go out and play hard.

sorry that's "like" he got shot, and "when" someone steals the ball.

my point is, how you see the refs depends on which team you're rooting for. if you were a Mavs fan, you'd try to defend every call that was made. so it's all perspective. you can't complain about the refs jobbing you when in a previous game you were getting the benefit of the calls. you may see those calls as fair or unfair, but your opposition will have the opposite reponse.

half the people cry, "Rigged! The refs want X team to win." the other half cry, "It's about time the refs got a call right."

i wouldn't defend that howard call. in fact i would be ashamed.. i hate it when the rockets get away with bs calls. that's why i want to play the mavs. i dont want any doubts.

so no, you're point is null, because i do not see past bad calls for the rockets, and i would definitely not justify the bad calls the mavs have gotten if i were a fan of their floppity-asketball.

i'll just say this my roomate is a mavs fan and he is worried about the warriors beating them in the playoffs because (exact quotes from him)

"we're built for the regular season, we cheat in the playoffs. If the refs aren't buying our flops NO WAY we are gonna win anything"

this is from a mavs fan mind you

The Jackson Tech was what set the whole thing off, it should have just been a double T and left it at that.

But like you said the Warriors couldn't get pass it and just fell apart, Jackson and Davis just kept running their mouth and 'clapping'.

Those guys are both vets and should know better than that, it was a close game before that and they were in striking distance they should have had better mental toughness and played through it.
