It's about freaking time Duncan got called out for some of his whining and theatrics after a foul is called against him.

Duncan gives his patented incredulous look of shock and disbelief after about 95% of calls that do not go his away.

The result and intent of this is really no different than shouting a profanity at the ref.

I think the majority of the NBA's refs think Duncan's "I got robbed" antics are condescending, arrogant, and annoying.

Personally, I think he deserved to get booted because he didnt just laugh once, he kept laughing from the time of Technical #1 all the way to Technical #2. The intent was to show up Crawford IMO. This is what the new rules were put in at the beginning of this yr to avoid.

Not to mention, the call that preceded Duncan's laughing gas episode was a clear offensive foul on #21. He hooked Diop to create space. He's so used to getting away with that move (ala Gary Payton) that he's in disbelief when goes against him.

Tim, you aren't above the game. Believe it or not, you do foul just like every other NBA player. Save the annoying theatrics and get back to the other end of the court and play ball.

Duncan also could easily be seen yelling "F You" and "You are a POS" to Crawford after the game. Crawford will remember this, no doubt.

crawford is one sucky official..all i hear is how he has been in the league for 3000 years ...and still sucks. too much pride.

All players absolutely do not whine about calls to the degree Tim Duncan does. The only ones who arguably argued more than him were Karl Malone and Rasheed Wallace.

How many times have you seen a call go against Duncan and him not whine about it? It gets old, and you're kidding yourself if you dont think refs consider this and get annoyed by it.

Love the player, but hate his whining.

 

Duncan need to get away with a lot of crap. He's always complaining. I was glad to see him thrown out.

 

Every player whines, but u cant say TD does it all the time. only person i see do it all the time is Rasheed until now where he faces a suspension each T.

i'd think any rox fan understands the importance of impartial refs. i hope the league suspends crawford.

Duncan, did NOT in anyway hook Diop. Ive looked at it several times and he barely...I mean, barely touches him with his arm as he passed him by.


Technical number one, Crawford was about 20 feet away in a loud game trying to hear what Tim Was saying to his team mates. Tim didnt talke to Crawford, nor did he inhibit the game in any way shape or form. So there is NO way you can call this a foul, or Technical. I cant believe you think this can be called. It doesnt matter if he turned and told Horry, "What a @##$ @#$$ @##$ Crawford is" That is NOT a T.

Second T, Timmy was laughing. Guess what, so was Horry. It was Crawfords own shame, at his stupid ass call that led to this T. It was an embarrasment of the game. If that would of happened to TMac, youd of been crying all night long.

The really really sad part of this, is this cost the Spurs a legit shot at the 2 seed, being that I know the Rox are going to beat the Suns . For any ref to not only determine to outcome of a game, but playoff seeding, and HCA, is a black mark on the game. Seriously, Crawford should be suspended for that.

Duncan hooked Diop twice on that play. It was a blatant foul.

 

LOL, that's pretty funny, but come on, give the man some credit. Rafer has been playing great.
