I don't trust anyone with the username of lakerfan on a Rockets forum.

After sitting on the bench for so long, why did Lin come back in the game with 4 min left? I believe we were down 11 at that point.

Lin might've gotten in during borderline garbage time because then McHale wouldn't have to answer people asking "Why Lin sat the entire fourth quarter?" It definitely was an odd move to finally get him back in the game at that point.

An opinion isn't associated with the word "trust". You can disagree with me if you want, its just an opinion. And if you choose to trust any individuals by usernames then.......

You should be more worried about how D'Antoni is destroying the Lakers :p

Both MacFail and Harden prefer Beverly.

Stats show Harden is not as effective with Lin on the floor. I believe McHale takes Lin out (whether playing badly or well) to get Harden going, because he believes that's how you win games. Harden doesn't have to share the ball with Jeremy -- Bev plays defense and spots up. You notice when Bev plays with Harden, he doesn't have the assists, Harden does.

Lin shot 50 percent to tonight. It was not like his shot is not falling. I support Mchale going with the hot hands on the 2nd quarter. But he should put Lin in earlier in 4th

I agree with you. McHale wants to get Harden going first.

The 3 was in garbage time so it's more like 2 of 6. He had a terrible game but he did decent in the 3rd with a nice asts or two to Asik. Other than that, Beverley was more effective throughout.

It s very simple. Mchale is going Harden mode. I do not think whether to have Lin really matters in this game. Mchale was not using Asik properly. I do not know why he did not put Asik back until we got eaten alive consecutively. I remember Mchale waited 8 seconds before he called the time out. It really showed that he did not have a clear plan. If our coach can not decide whether he should take a time out, we are in trouble.

I think you mean 2 of 5. Missing 3 shots doesn't mean you're off and should stop shooting. Every player can have an off quarter or half or even night, but the good players are allowed to play through it. I think Lin is a good player and has way too short a leash. McHale is the coach and obviously thinks differently.

Beverley was effective in the 1st half. He disappeared and was a non-factor in the 2nd half.

Lin's playing time 19 mins is broken. Beverley's playing time 28m is consistent.
    Bev played 28 minutes got 9 points , 1 assist, 1 steal,1 tos.
    Lin played 20 minutes got 8 points 4 assists, 2 steals,4 tos.

LOL...the numbers don't lie...so this means minus the last few shots by Harden....? The point is that Asik, DMo, Harden, Parsons, and Lin played like crap tonight. Beverley was no more effective then Lin...especially with all those minutes. The only guy that really showed up tonight was Greg Smith...period.:(

He played good solid D, defers to Harden, and doesn't make many silly mistakes.

But he also wasn't scoring in the second half and Harden was off all night. Lin played better in the third and could've at least given us another threat on offense.

No. If you do not count that shot, it should be 2 of 5. you can not take it out of the numerator while keeping in the denominator:) and I would not think 9 pt gap with 1:50 left is garbage time.

Beverly hit several important shots, brought momentum. Lin sucked in the first quarter with TOs. I think Mchale really hates TOs. He pulled Lin after he made a TO.
