I agree with everything you have been saying regarding the organization. I get upset if someone told me he's gonna give me a $5 discount and later didn't. $3 mil is still $3 mil. It's the principal of the matter. We can't belame the media for not liking us very much. If I wasn't a faithful rockets fan who happened to grew up in houston and idolized Hakeem, I would hate the rockets right now. Hakeem was well liked by the media and had a great reputation. Everyone looks for the story book ending (in which he should have retired a Rocket) but instead Les killed that ending and Hakeem had to finish his career in Canada. Well atleast it saved him a few mil, afterall I'm sure he didn't make much money by winning back-to-back championships.
I don't remember Francis and Barkley playing together either. I think it was Matt Maloney pg'ing it during the Barkley days.
He would lose the $3M or more on Las Vegas even if he got $11M instead of $9, but Barkley can not figure it out because he is just not smart enough. By the way, he could refuse the deal of $9M if he really did not like it, why has he to be a general rockets hater when he just has a problem with Les.

That's not the point dude. you guys are the one's who have animosity against Charles Barkley. It's not about him, it's about the principle. Nobody knows or cares what you do with your money or what I do with my money or Clutch or Yao or Charles Barkley. When you go to work, assuming you work, do they ask you what you do with your money? Barkley's boss, Les, allegedly screwed him over. It doesn't matter if 100000 teenage Rocket fans hate Charles, if he got a raw deal he got a raw deal.

I do not get it. Barkley has a right to hate Les or that GM for his money, but has no a right to hate Yao, Tmac or whoever on the rockets, and hoping that the rockets fail every year. Besides that, my main problem is that he is not a smart guy as a TV analysis, you do not gain anything to watch him except HaHa, that may be good for others, but not for me, so I stop follow TNT because of Barkley.

When does he say "I hate Yao"? Is it me or he did a commercial with Yao and Yao has been on TNT many times ? if you stop follow TNT because of Barkley then how do you know he hates the Rockets all the time? I got flamed a year ago when I tricked a Yao fan about the Boston game on the game thread, I asked him "How do you feel that Yao got out rebounded by Len Bias?" then the Yao fan starts making excuses about it. Len Bias never played. I purposely picked Len Bias instead of a Boston player who was still playing to make a point. You know that TNT hasn't shown a Rockets game yet this season right? So how are all these so called Barkley haters watching it?
How can you bring up Joe Stephens and Elmer Bennett as if you can fully recollect them as Rockets but can't remember Francis and Barkley being on the same team?
If you're watching Barkley to gain any insight on the game or are looking for great analysis then I implore you to change the channel on Thursday nights to something other than TNT. Barkley on TNT is what he is--there for comedic appeal. Anyone taking whatever Charles says seriously to the point where they start threads on NBA forums about what he thinks of this team or that team is just as ridiculous as the things that comes out of his mouth.
