honestly i dont know. t-mac's always been a streaky player. one night he looks unguardable, the next night he cant hit a rock in an ocean. call it mental, fatigue, whatever, hes at a stage in his career where he cant score at will every night anymore. time to accept him for what he is.

Everything he said is true and in my heart I agreed with him. But he needs to be just a little more humble so he/team can have some outs. The "its on me" and "beating" Detroit 3-1 is embarrassing not only to him but to his fans as well.

You tell me Scola, battier, hayes scraping for loose balls is tired? You telling me Rafer gettin pump up for every game is tired? The only player on the team I see tired is McLazy, I'm sorry, its an 82 game season, not 50.

I voted good defense but I think a lack of motivation is also part of the reason. Maybe that is from the fatigue...eh

Obviously, not only T-Mac, all the team member is tired after the streak. That why we lose the second half to hornets.
We need a rest, physically and mentally.

Hopefully we can pickup another player in the offseason that can create his own shot.

I didn't see the usual hustle from all those guys. I saw lazy passes from everyone. Shane looked tired also. Plus all those guys play off the ball - big difference. How was Rafer's shooting the past two games?

I agree with this. He played hard when we had something of note to play for, like when we played New Orleans without David West and the 3rd seed was at stake, or when we played Charlotte to stand alone in 2nd place in history. His body language lately compared to then is like night and day. He knows that type of effort is unsustainable long term and we'll need teammates to step up eventually, so he just doesn't even make an effort. I kinda see where he's coming from, but it just looks bad. Reallllly bad.

Teams are collapsing on McGrady as soon as he even gets a step on a defender - he isn't penetrating deep enough to do any serious damage. They always have someone the weak side shadowing him.

Every time they try to pull the pick and roll the help steps all the way out to stop the dribble - and they double while they other 3 players rotate.

Teams are taking T-Mac out of the game, and giving his teammates the opportunity to beat them. It's been working - this is the same **** they do to VC in NJ.

He's been streaky since being a Rocket - he used to be one of the most consistent players in the league. Who knows WTF happened (injuries).

Thats what I said in my other thread. His defense sucks at best. He isnt doing anything on the offensive end either. So where is his tireness excuse coming from? Battier guards the best player on the team, not him. What a punk.

Of course, Kobe or Levron would be also tired! They are also human beings!

Lakers or Cavs didn't win 82 games in one season! In fact, the rockets beat Lakers twice and Cavs twice this season!
