How about the half that says:
-that a lot of the debt was voted on by the citizens.
-that at the time of the budget expansion, population was on a steady increase and that the budget increased by necessity.
-that the sales tax increase was approved by the voters.

I guess she should have ignored the will of the voters. (shrug)

The same idiots that will vote for mccain are the same ones that re elected bush. As an ex republican all i can say is that they haven't a single ounce of integrity, and as conservatives, they want change now also.

Dems are the ones supposed to be running up the bills and starting wars, what happened to the party of Abe?

Senator Pual is all the honesty this party has now.

So another in the ever-growing list of those who belittle, insult, and assail the integrity of those with whom they disagree.

    Color me so surprised.

It's amazing how people try to explain this away. We have someone trying to tell us they will bring change and reform to Washington, yet the little record that they actually have is pretty much a micro mirror image of what has been going on in Washington for 8 years. You can't tell me you're a fiscal conservative when you take a small town with zero debt obligations and leave it $22 million in the red, and then try to explain to me that they were for "capital projects".

For those who don't understand why what she did with the Alaska budget surplus is bad: this is exactly the same thing the Bush administration did with the surpluses it inherited. It distributed them to the citizens and simultaneously took on debt. This is the "change" the Republicans want to bring to Washington? Really? Do they really think we are that stupid?

And about the tax: this one lines up with the whole trickle down economics debate -- at least in this one area she seems to be practicing what she preaches. The property taxes she cut favored business property owners more than residents, and of course you're free to opine about how objective any one resident's view of the policy is. If you believe in trickle down economics, then the policy should have resulted in more jobs and better wages for the residents. But then, we've had that going for 8 years in Washington now as well.

What's really scary about that email is that she seems to be really ruthless and vindictive. She goes in, fires everyone who didn't support her or doesn't bend at her every whim, and replaces them with her own people. It is a clearly established fact that when her own mother in law ran for office she chose to endorse her opponent. That is a scary type of person to have in the White House.

Nice to see a republican that stands for issues and not just party politics. Well I guess you are an ex-republican now due to their rhetoric and actually leaving off the values that they claim. I actually support some republican ideas, but will never support the people behind them right now.

    Exactly right.

I don't know why the Republicans like debt so much?

Man you put that well and spoke the truth. This is the scariest election that I have ever witnessed as an American. If the McCain/Palin ticket actually wins, I really worry about our wonderful country falling further from grace.

Is it true that when Sarah Palin was asked about the Iraq War, she said that she didn't know much about Iraq and that it was God's War?
