well, I find it hard to believe anyone would believe my claim that Willis is the MVP........

Willis is my least favorite player in the NBA and I thought that any team that had him on their roster would never win the title, so when the Spurs did I had to eat a little crow,, so I nominated him for Finals MVP for not complaining about his lack of playing time........

All they had to do was read the thread about Willis that had been on the first page for days.....they don't have to study anything, but reading is pretty important.

It is kind of like the Jim Rome show, you need a few weeks to listen to show to understand what is going on, then you make a phone call. Same thing here, a new person should read many threads to understand the points made, and to understand what is (and what isn't) sarcasm.

    but here it is

Willis in an interview in an article in Slam recently said that the reason the Rockets brought him in was to tutor Cato. He said in the article that " trying to work with Cato was like trying to light a wet match".

First of all, I do know it's sarcasm(though may not be the best one). Anyone with the right mind... well, even with a wrong mind, as long as you have a mind, would know who's the real MVP. You perceived my agreement post as an attacking post, what a way to treat people!

Here is what bothers me about what you said. You expect every person to do a research on your history when they read your post???     You are more demanding than the British Queen, well, even more than the Sacromento Queens for that matter. There are over 10,000 posters here, and i suppose there are at least 1,000 come here regularly. Who the heck can remember every single poster's name and history to know what he's talking about? If the earth revolves around you, no one but you, I would accept it maybe. Come on, grow up a little, would you?

Willis is one of the most hardworking, respected players in the NBA.

And it's not so wise if you put your trust on a 19 year veteran to "win you the championship." I think we all know he's not TD or Kareem.

You don't need to remind me the population here. You suggested I didn't know what I was talking about. if you didn't mean it, what was the point of your post then....ahh who cares, were are beating this to death...

...all you had to do was read my thread on Willis I started last week, is that too much to ask? You should do a little research to know what is going on. I did before I started posting.

DavidS, Willis has been horrible his whole career, he prevented the Human Highlight Film from even making the Conference Finals.

    How?

Did Willis miss that crucial open shot?

Or was it that Dominique just got beat by a better team; Celtics, Pistons, Bulls, Cavs?

    Those teams weren't pushovers.

I've always loved Willis game with the Hawks. He was a hard worker and crashed be boards without fear.

Remember game 1? I believe Sacremento won by almost 40 points. Sacremento is the best team in the league, they just had their best player injured. I am not a sacremento fan, I just feel they play basketball the way it should be played. They move the ball around, find open shots for teamates, they can actually consistently hit outside jump shots unlike 80% of the NBA, they can beat you inside and out and they play solid defense. San Antonio is the Champ and Tim Duncan is the REAL MVP. WHy does everyone have to diminish the accomplishments of others. The Spurs are the Champs and they earned it. Let's just recognize that and move on. Peace.
