    Maybe a certain college athlete will be able to hire someone with the money he could make in the NFL.

    It's a business, but I still think it's pathetic to profit off someones demise...

    I think the profits have been and are being counted as I am sure commerical spots have already been sold and bought. If they get increased viewership over the next 5 episodes, it won't matter because the star has passed and there are no more shows to make to profit from. Its really no big deal.

    Yes, but by showing his last shows, it won't cause a detriment to the future of the network resulting in huge losses in revenues in the future.

    In the other situation, it could cause a huge loss of revenue and an inferior product.

    The situations are totally different.

    And again, Maurice Clarett isn't responsible for the revenues of the entire NFL or NCAA. And yes this could cause a huge loss in future revenues because people might decide to avoid ABC because of this.
