I have a pretty good trade offer. I tried it in real gm. If yall dont like it please dont yell at me What do yall think bout this?
This is another trade i had that worked. Houston Trade Breakdown Outgoing Juwan Howard 6-9 PF from Michigan 11.8 ppg, 6.7 rpg, 1.4 apg in 31.7 minutes Bob Sura 6-5 from Florida State No games yet played in 2005/06 Luther Head 6-3 PG from Illinois 8.8 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 2.7 apg in 28.9 minutes Incoming Danny Fortson 6-8 PF from Cincinnati 3.8 ppg, 3.4 rpg, 0.1 apg in 12.0 minutes Luke Ridnour 6-2 PG from Oregon 11.5 ppg, 3.0 rpg, 7.0 apg in 33.3 minutes I think this would be a great trade for us because we get rid of Juwans contract and Sura who will not play. I think we also have to give Luther Head up. Snyder would not work in this deal. But in return we would get Luke Ridnour who is a perfect fit for the rockets at PG and Danny Fortson, a physical player that can rebound well. Danny Fortson also wants out of Seattle. After getting rid of Juwans contract maybe we can get a player in PF or SG to replace Head. I dont know if the Sonics would be willing to do this trade but if they do I think we should take the deal.
OK this trade unfortunalately involves the JAILBLAZERS. I figure they have time to develop Aldridge and Roy as we have a "win now" mentality. The sad part fo them is they darfted positions they are solid at and have young guys just waiting to be discouraged. I say we give them cap relief for the future and let them inherit some guys who can set a hard nose precedent for their young guys and allow them to cultivate yet be competitive and athe same time give us the ability to build and win. ROCKETS GIVE: JHo- to not threaten Aldridge but to help cultivate Sura-even if he doesn't play he's gone in 2 years or retires if he plays can help Roy maintain the tenacity he's been touted for having Bowen- good work ethic; gone in a year Mutumbo- can spell JoelP gone in a year ROCKETS GET: Zach Randolph- more than servicable PF/C He can run and bang and help alogt when Yao's resting Offensive threat/ shot blocker and rebounder Jarret Jack-6'3 PG and possibly Sg at times if needed statistically pretty balanced talent REALGM approved of this trade and I hope you and the Blazers do as well. We take the years off of PortL and use them to our advantage ZR-5yr/JJ-4 yr. We cut those salaries for them by 2 years at least with these expiring contacts to come.
I would rather have Miles. Houston trades to Portland: Juwan Howard Ryan Bowen Houston receives from Portland: Darius Miles Steve Blake future 2nd Otherwise, role the dice and send Juwan & Sura to Denver for KMart and a 2nd.
I'd rather have the expiring contract deals for Juwan. Then sign Lo Wright and offer Qyntel Woods part of the MLE. Woods would give us most of what Miles would give us with better 3 point shooting. Do you realize that Woods shoots like 55% from the floor when you subtract out his 36% 3 point shooting? That's a lot of dunks and finishes my friend.
I like both of these trades. We may be giving too much for Maggette, but it will help with the "win now" mind set. Also if we can sign a Evans/Cato with te remaining MLE, we have a banger. Imagine a line up of Tmac/Maggette/Battier/Evans/Yao at the closing moments of a close game. Painting_Shade, the scenerios and team you have set up in your signature looks real good to me.
how about trading juwan howard for this guy? <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yCso8qP_Mm4"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yCso8qP_Mm4" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
^ Wow, that highlight-reel makes him look pretty good. Without having actually seen him play much in college, I wonder why so many teams passed on him. If the Rockets drafted another player (say Brewer), I wonder how much farther Gay might have slipped.
To 10th, perhaps, West had a deal worked out with Seattle to sent Battier their way for the pick + the expiring deal of Fortson. As to why teams passed on him? Maybe it's games like this: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=260680041 and this: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/boxscore?gameId=260030269 Maybe it's the fact that at the end of the day, he averaged just 46% shooting despite all the dunks. Maybe it's the fact that he turned the ball over 2.5 times a game in college to get his 15.6 and 6.4 rebounds points Brandon Roy's highlight film looks much less impressive, yet there's a reason why he was the more sought-after prospect. He can play basketball. Highlight flims don't make a player. Hell, Eddy Curry has jaw dropping NBA highlight films, too, and he's still just only moderately effective NBA player. I'm sure the coaches watched films of entire games rather than just the highlights... BTW, is it just me or does "einstein" post the same Gay highlight in every thread?
I would agree with you, Gay didn't show up in many games and is a head case. They said in minnesota after his predraft workout that he threw a fit in the locker room, throwing stuff over and yelling at people. And for all those people trying to get rid of Head, it would be a huge mistake!!! he has a great future with us.
Yeah. I remember comparing his numbers (from Pomeroy's college stats site) to Roy and Brewer (hell, even Gansey) before the draft, and his offensive numbers didn't look very good at all. The low efficiency really stood out. I noticed the same thing about Foye, though, but his draft stock didn't seem to suffer much for it.
OK just because I can do it with little reprecussion....this ones for Tracy. Rockets give up: JHo, Sura,Mutombo, and Alston. Rockets get: Vince Carter, Kristic Vince has declined to sign an extension with the nets so we try to help them get something now before things perhaps get ugly and we good a good ol' family story ala Dream/Clyde for Tracy and Vince to go out on. I would much rather have Vince than Miles.
Me too! LOL get it done!! If New Jersey is giving away Carter for garbage they could get much better garbage.
we would have a better shot tradeing vince for t-mac straight up plus or minus players needed to make the salaries work.
