No way Kmart's coming. We have enough potential injury problems as is and Kmart's contract is huge. Randolph's a better option. At least he's healthier.

IF I HAD THE ABILITY TO POST A NEW THREAD THIS WOULD BE IT!

Why can't the rockets attract players who want to win a ring?

Is it because they all want the money? the most obvious question.

Are they not thrilled about playing backseat to Mcgrady/Yao? one ball!

Are they intimidated by VanGundy? Expects too much hard work and professionalism.

Is it the half court system? The playoffs are usually half court orinted.

Do they know they will be shooting outside shots? Their shots aren't consistent.

Are they afraid of playing defense? Every night and every play for Van Gundy!

Is it the management? Old school.

Is it the city? Summers seem a great place.

I WISH SOMEONE WOULD POST THIS TOPIC FOR ME...MAYBE MGMNT. WOULD PONDER THE SAME AND REACT BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!!

    Thanks back to my grub.

    detroit gets
    - juwan howard
    - luther head

    Houston gets
    - Amir johnson
    - 1st round pick

I watched amir johnson play in the d league..even though it was not against nba starters that guy played his tail off on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball..He would give us what we were trying to get out of stromile....amir has a legit outside shot extending to the 3 pt line so we could have some serious mismatches there

Somehow I doubt that Amir Johnson's salary matches Juwan Howard and Luther Head's.

Are you kidding me? Amir Johnson is some unproven rookie, and you're expecting us to give Juwan Howard and Luther Head for him and what, a 20th pick. Really unnecessary. I don't want to unload Juwan Howard unless we get some PF insurance, and Luther Head is a proven rookie, no need to give him for some unproven rookie.

Would some sort of sign and trade with Cleveland for Drew Gooden be possible?

    Edit:
Cavs signed Gooden to a three year deal today, so I guess not.

    The Answer to T-Back?

Not that signing Kelenna Azubuike isn't a significant addition.

But if the Rockets are truly making the statement that now is there time, perhaps there's one more move left to make this summer.

    Tracy McGrady for Allen Iverson.

Despite protestations to the contrary, The Answer is still available in Philly. And despite claims to the contrary, the Rockets have to be very concerned about T-Mac's T-Back, which pretty much cost them all of last season.

This much is certain. McGrady is a magnificent performer, a sight to behold when he's healthy. Iverson is a gamer.

Everytime McGrady goes up into the air, the Rockets will hold their breath. Everytime Iverson is slammed to the floor, the toughest little guy in the NBA jumps right back up.

McGrady is 27 with nine years of NBA wear on his tires (and a chronic back). Iverson is 31 with 10 years in the league.

McGrady has never won a single playoff series in his career and he's led by margins of 3-1 and 2-0. Iverson almost singlehandedly dragged the Sixers to the 2001 NBA Finals, when the second-highest scoring player on the team was Aaron McKie.

    Who makes you tougher?

    Just a question.

In case the author of the blog doesn't know, Iverson tends to miss many games each year with injuries. I admire Iverson's heart and desire, but I feel that a healthy T-Mac is much more valuable to the team than AI. Tracy has a better all-around game and more versatility.

 Im so anxious, will somethin happen already! A trade a signing. Anything. All i c is disappointment cause my stros are losing, reg season hasnt started for the texans (still get over not havin bush), and need the rockets to do somethin right. I still think our best option for tradin would involve the blazers since they have too many bigs.

    Qrich,Canning Frye and Jerome James

Just trying to set up a team for years to come.
Help us by attemting to help Isiah, its all brainstorming,

I would love to get one of Blazers bigs as well.

I sat up a trade for Zach earlier in this thread, didn't get much pub.

Can we trade for Aldridge? Is too early or possible?

I think the blazers are wishy washy enough to do the unthinkable.

How about we trade T-Mac, Yao, Head, and Juwan to Washington for Awvee Story, Etan Thomas, Andray Blatch, and Micheal Ruffin? This scenario seems to be on par with a lot of your trade suggestions.

I appreciate your suggestions and I feel you're comments are invaluable to this site. Your objectivity is unequivocal (that's a big word that means that no one can equal you), and I now see the trades you have offered this site make more sense than any of our trades. Some folks around may believe that you are being negative or sarcastic, but I know for a fact you are the only person on this site that has the basketball knowledge to rebuke any of my trade offers with sound facts.

    I really like your name.

The way you to reply to people truly implies that you have a lot to say in life, and that you are smart enough to think for yourself and debate ideas with intelligence.

I really don't like your trade suggestion because I don't think we would be giving fair players in return. Washington won way more games than us last year, therefore I don't think they would do it.

BUT I trust that you know what you're talking about due to the quality you have implied in all of your posts.

If the Rockets suck this year, I will make sure that you get all the credit that you deserve.

Hey do the last numbers of your name imply that I was watching the rockets in the finals when you were being born? Your wealth of knowledge sure does not indicate it.

God, negativity is such a waste.
