Disagree, Jefferson's a stud that was just coming into his own the last 20 games or so. He's only 22 and has tremendous potential IMO. Physical PF that can also play center, one of the crying needs of the Rockets. He comes to the team and I see an Adelman doing what the Jazz do with Okur and Boozer, playing Yao more often in the high post or perimeter and Jefferson in the low post. Don't think the Celts want to let him go though.

Rookie34, I would love to hear one good reason why the Atlanta Hawks would do this, just one good reason.

And you got heat for your trade idea with Boston, which I thought was actually a pretty good trade idea.

This trade for Atlanta's two best players for our scrubs is laughable.

They already have a surplus in guards and need help at the pf and c position... I don't see how that would help them become a stronger team...

Dude, are u serious about this trade. I have a very hard time believing that you actually feel this is legit. We wouldn't get Al Jefferson ALONE for all 4 players. Everybody and their mom tried to get him from the Celtics. Here's a couple names that are 20x bigger than your proposed 4 who were denied:

    Kevin Garnett
    Allen Iverson
    Rashard Lewis
    Ray Allen
    Pau Gasol
    The Knicks
    Ben Gordon
    Luol Deng

Have some fricking respect dude! It's just an idea.

would definitely bring us some solid talent. However, the trade will never happen because Atlanta is going to be building upon these guys. It Each year they have seen their team get a little bit better and they probably figure if they get one or two more studs, they may be able to make it out of the lottery.

My thoughts exactly when I saw the "overrated" post. Who exactly has overhyped him? The only media love he's gotten that I am aware of is whenever Bill Simmons pointed out how his numbers are comparable with Dwight Howard's.

First, the Boston trade, then this bull****.

We couldn't get Josh Smith by himself if we traded our entire roster outside T-Mac and Yao, what makes you think we would get Joe Johnson AND Josh Smith for 2 used condoms, an empty bag of skittles, and some moldy cheese.

I don't think they would do it because generally the team that gets the better player is the one that comes out on top. It sure sounds to me like we would be doing better. Face it, this deal wouldn't be worth it unless we took Al Jefferson at that point, it would be a horrible deal for us because we don't really want Wally's contract!

1 star. Why in the world would Atlanta send their suppousedly franchise player for a bunch of scrubs. Far out, people got to start thinking in another team's persepective before posting rediculous trade proposals.

I'm willing to forgive this thread assuming it's author is under the age of 16. (and hopefully closer to 12) However, if the author of this thread is over the age of 16 I think the death penalty is in order.
