I'd even throw in the 26th pick to get this deal done. Sean May showed flashes this past year and if he can stay healthy alongside Yao he could be very beastly.

I am still not sold on the Artest rumor...

But if we could get Artest, I think I would prefer this line up more:

Yao
Tmac
Artest
Battier
James

If a 6'10" Amare could play center, I don't see why a 6'7" Artest can't play PF... Artest and Battier in the same team is a nightmare for anybody...

That staying healthy part is a pretty big "IF."

His knees are constantly ****ed up... in his 2nd year in the league, that can't be a good sign for durability.

Just throwing this out for the heck of it...

Free Agent
* Sign Mo William with MLE (If we could get Bonzi for $2 Mil, this is not something that's totally out of reach)
* Sign CWeb with LLE

Trades
* Rafer + Head for a S&T Darko Millicic + Orlando's 2nd rounder
* Sura, Lucas, Snyder, Our #26, Orlando's 2nd rounder for Artest

Re-sign
* Hayes, Bonzi, Mutombo

Starting Line Up/Back Up

Mo William (James/Vspan)
Tmac (James/Bonzi)
Battier (Artest/Tmac)
Artest (Darko/Cweb/Hayes/Novak)
Yao (Darko/Mutombo)

*** Trade away Artest/Bonzi/James during mid seaon if they don't fit..

IN: Tim Thomas
OUT: Mike James

Then spend MLE to sign Mo Williams from Miwaukee

Rotation:

Williams/Alston
McGrady/Head
Battier/Snyder
Thomas/Hayes
Yao/Mutombo

Mo Walliams is a good PG and he played good minutes in Milwaukee but is Tim Thomas a real PF? He just wanna shoote the bal and he's not rebounder and blocker so in my opinion we don't need him.

Tim Thomas is a real PF when he wants to be...

He reminds me of Robert Horry.

Well for me he's just more a shooter, scorer guy who wants to shoot a lot 3s. I haven't seen him blockin' the shoot. Anyway I don't think we need Tim Thomas to our 1st 5. He would be good for the bench

Cavs, Kings could renew talks for Bibby trade

He ranked seventh in the league with 173 three-pointers (36 percent).

Source:

Does this help or hurt the Bib situation, and if he is traded, can and/or will he opt out to play for H-Town.

NO MORE Tim Thomas talk.

I'd like a big guy added as much as the next man

but thats exactly why I dont want possibly the softest waste of potential this league has ever seen.

Detroit's #15 pick for Houston's #26 and Snyder. Houston tries to get Thornton or McRoberts to get a solid rookie for PF.

Duhon+Khryapa+2x 2nd round picks FOR Alston+Snyder

Does Duhon improve the Rockets? No, this is just a pure salary dump. Bulls get a better player locked with a very manageable contract. Bulls also have two
second round picks in addition to their lottery pick.

James, Duhon, Spanoulis
McGrady, Head, *
Battier, Khryapa, Novak
* , Hayes, Reed
Yao, Deke, *
