bwhahah you can't really blame him though can you? With the scrubs you mentioned you can make a trade for anybody in the league.. Doesnt mean the opposite team would be willing..

not too strong. i don't see how anyone could think this is viable.

it's a bad trade for josh smith. Their youngest and most-promising player (at least the one with the most potential). But if that was the offer, at least I could say "i don't think they'd ever do it".

But going for him plus their best player at the moment? A guy who has played 1, 2, and 3? The guy they signed to help turn their franchise? BOTH of them? Ugh

    Trade Idea...Boston - Houston!

    hehe

    :p

we get a good offensive player in Jefferson who could easily become an allstar and replace possibly hayes' position

we get a great PG in West

    some shooting with Szczerbiak

the Celts would be satisfied with this :D

I really like Delonte, but I would never call him a "great PG".

well, if we give a bad contract we have to get one in return

nothing is for free, this is why this trade is possible

    why?

    why not?

someone let me know why this trade is not possible?

the celts have a young team, some mature players would not hurt them

They aren't really getting any maturity, they aren't getting a solid return. They might as well stay with the kids they gots, and hope they draft an Oden. Boston would never even look at this trade.

As r****ded as this trade sounds I think it could happen depending on what draft position the celtics get.

A lot of gms and coaches like shane so I could see how a gm could be fooled into giving up actaul value for shane's "Ïntangables".
Amel makes a good point you have to give to get as bad jhos contract is wally's is worse but at least wally has some skills that the the team could use. Wally could give us a good spark of the bench or maybe even start. If you asked me who I would rather have take a wide open three, wally or shane I would take wally every day of the week. He is way over payed but the boy can shoot. If the celtics get durant al is going to get shoped.
