Because Rox don't want to trade him. He isn't maybe as good as he was in orlando but he's still a superstar. T-Mac is a great playmaker, shooter scorer all you want. He knows Yao Yao knows him and that's it. Of course you can say Kobe is better cause he is alone in LA and he has to shoot score points do it all.

I read the news that Kobe demented it and he said he wants to stay in LA and he wants to end his carrier here. So no soubts Kobe will stay.

You all know we won't trade Tracy but you still write it

    Houston Trade Breakdown
    Outgoing
    Shane Battier
    Bob Sura
    2007 Draft #26 Pick

    Incoming
    Antonio Daniels
    Tim Thomas
Change in team outlook: +8.0 ppg, +2.8 rpg, and +3.8 apg.

    Washington Trade Breakdown
    Outgoing
    Antonio Daniels
    Brendan Haywood

    Incoming
    Corey Maggette
Change in team outlook: +3.2 ppg, -2.2 rpg, and -1.4 apg.

    L.A. Clippers Trade Breakdown
    Outgoing
    Corey Maggette
    Tim Thomas

    Incoming
    Shane Battier
    Bob Sura
    2007 Draft #26 Pick
    Brendan Haywood

Change in team outlook: -11.2 ppg, -0.6 rpg, and -2.4 apg.

    Successful Scenario
Due to Houston, Washington, and L.A. Clippers being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Houston, Washington, and L.A. Clippers had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

i think all teams should like this.

for washington, i know it's not addressing their problems, which is a big man, but brendan haywood has to go. and while they would lose their main back-up point guard (they can replace daniels with the 16th pick), they can play corey maggette at SG with arenas and butler and jamison and that would definitely be an upgrade. deshawn is not a great starter but would be a key bench player.

Clippers have always seemed to have a problem with maggette and im sure they would rather have battier. battier and brand played together at duke. they would add brendan haywood who could back up both brand and kaman...kaman hasnt been playing as well so he could lose minutes. and they get a draft pick.

    Houston.
they would address two of their problems iwith daniels at the point and thomas at the power forward spot
    if bonzi stays:

    Rafer / Daniels
    Wells / Head
    Mcgrady / Snyder / Thomas
    Thomas / Hayes / Juwan
    Yao / Dikembe

So same team as last year but instead of battier we have bonzi, tim thomas and antonio daniels. all we would need is to use the MLE for either a SG or a power forward and use tim thomas as a small forward.

If my memory serves me correctly there used to be a loophole in the CBA that allowed teams eliminated from the postseason to make trades during the playoffs. The last major one I remember was Mitch Richmond for Chris Webber.

Does this mean we could trade Bob Sura right now to a team needing cap relief? I wonder if that rule was removed, or maybe they GMs just forgot about it. Seriously, the rulebook is thick and GMs are geezers. :)

Tim Thomas is great. He's a good shooter he can score inside. He'll be great for Houston.

I'm not agree. 3 superstars on one team - It doesn't have to be championship. It can be team who can't even enter the playoffs

i actualy like that idea. they get two players that are class, and great veteran leaders. they get oden, and get rid of randolph's big contract. also with the fact, they'll have to pay alot of their young players big $$$, they should try to get rid of randolph and daruis miles contract.this can only work if they want oden. if they get durant, they have no need to get rid of randolph. and for sure, we should never ever recieve miles. miles is injury prone, cancer, sucks at shooting, big $$$$$ contract, etc. do i need to say more? if they want, i'd give them a future 1st pick, or future 2nd.

Portland would take that deal in a second. Randolph would mean cap hell for this team for the next 5 years. They'd have to throw in Jack for me to even think about that.

I don't understand the thread title or the link in relation to it. The whole point of that article is that Kobe isn't demanding a trade and wants to retire a laker. Further, there is absolutely no mention of a possible T-Mac for Kobe trade scenario.

How do you know we would not trade Tracy? we can trade anybody if the deal is good. If we do not trade someone just because we we will lose something insteads of gaining something.

I don;t know. For me Houston is the best team for Tracy. When I think about Houston I'm not first thinking about Yao or JVG first of all I'm thinking about Tracy. He is our guy. I'M T-Mac's and Rockets' fan that's right but think for a moment. You know we won't trade Tracy or Yao, will we?

And as I said earlier, Kobe stays in LA
