I'd love to have Jasi in an Adelman offense.

Ive been wondering about how the Rox could aquire him. I thought he played pretty decent with the Pacers, so I would be interested to see what he could do with the Rox at PG. Trade him straight up for Rafer or maybe they would be interested in Luther and Sura.

The reason I would like to see him on the Rox is he can probly finish much stronger at the rim than Rafer. I think given the open looks Rafer get he could probly shoot it @ about the same rate also.

    Get er done Morey!

I know it's been already posted and admins blocked that thread but I don't know why. Biibby said he wants to play for Houston and for Adelman but the only obstacle is salary. It's not maybe on 100% but that's great to hear Bibby wants to play here.

The main thing for me now is to stop Bonzi in Houston

I'm not sure which is more faulty...I'll start in reverse order.

If the Bobcats are going to trade Morrison, an expiring contract is all they'll get? They don't have all that cap room by their own design. Part of the rules bringing them into the league had a staggered salary capped...they only were allowed to spend $30m in their first year of existence.

    Secondly....

The Rockets only need a minor tweak? Let's take a look at some starters...

Hayes - If on the team, an IL player on the Pistons, Mavs, Suns, Spurs or Jazz.

Alston - At best, a backup PG for any WC playoff team.

Battier - Standstill spotup shooter who's known for defense but has never been as high as 2nd Team All Defense and who unless used at PF pushes McGrady to SG. He wouldn't be valued on running teams like GS or PHX, wouldn't start over in SA Bruce Bowen, would struggle for SF PT in DAL vs Howard, Stackhouse, and Devean George, wouldn't supplant Melo or Kirilenko at SF, but might be marginally better than Luke Walton.

And the rotation is Howard, Head and Mutombo....

And the Rockets only need MINOR tweaks? Fortunately, I think the 1st round exit woke Morey up. Other may follow. :D

EDIT: Why are people trading Wells when he doesn't even have a Rockets' contract? And NO...he can't be SnT'd because the Rockets have no Bird Rights.

The hate's really gone to your head, man. Open your eyes and admit that you were wrong. I did it months ago, and I realized what a treat of a basketball player we got.

I am not convinced we have anyone (looking at you Yao) who can run this offense from the high post. We should make a run at Diaw. We would almost certainly have to give up Hayes (signed), Span/Novak, and Snyder at the VERY least. I'm not even a Diaw fan. I just think he is a solid player who can do what Adelman wants. It will also keep Yao in the deep post more often.

Diaw would be incredible for this team. He is a great match for Yao. I'd do that trade in a heartbeat.

LOL. Yeah a totally unselfish 7'6" tall big man with passing skills can't see over the D and hit the cutters.

    Geez, get real.

I don't know what I was thinking. Battier and Hayes would clearly have to be the centerpiece of the Diaw proposal. If Wells recommits to the team then the starting lineup would look nice...

FOR AN ADELMAN TEAM! Man... Giving up our 2 best defensive guys, 2 of our favorite guys! The sad thing is I am sure Adelman would jump all over it. Sigh...

Unproven passing skills who turns the ball over at a ridiculous rate. I cringe at the thought of him being swarmed in the high post. I hope he proves me wrong...

Head to NJ for Boone (take a chance, its only Head!) and Hassan Adams

Snyder to Denver for Jr Smith (take a chance its only Snyder)

Works but who knows.....I like the additions.

    Just having fun....teacher....out for summer.
    Rockets
    jho to chicago

    chicago
    thabo sefolosha to rockets
    adrian griffin to denver
    chris duhon to denver

    denver
    reggie evans to rockets
    linas Kleiza to rockets

Chicago can draft Conley and have PJS back up
Denver get a point backup in duhon and rest for AI.....and backup SF in Griffin (currently Najera is the less offensive option)

Rockets get a PF in both denver players and a young SG that could help in Tmacs rest..... or share with Tmac when Battier sits..... or even play SG when Tmac is playing point.

You undervalue Battier. He should not be our 3d best player, but he isn't a scrub like you make him seem either. I would rather have him over the aging Bruce Bowen and defintely over injury prone and inconsistent Devean George. Battier is a good team and help defender, as evidenced by being one of the league leaders in drawing charges. He is also a good half court player because of his well above average spot up 3pt shooting. He would be valued on teams that run a lot of halfcourt sets like SA, Dallas, and Houston. Everything else in your post is spot on.

    My dream offseason:

Francis gets bought out and we bring him back to be the 1

    Bonzi signs

Rashard takes less money and signs as well

    Francis
    McGrady
    Battier
    Lewis
    Ming

    Bench:

    Wells
    Alston
    Head
    Mutumbo
    Howard
    Hayes
    Draft Pick
    Novak

This will never ever ever happen. But.........if it did, whould this be our best team ever?

I would think we would be the deepest team in the league

Man would that be fun to watch!

    Just Dreaming....

Offer JHo and Sura for Diaw and Banks and watch Phx say YES faster than _____...they'd LOVE the salary relief, but would the talent increase be worth the salary constrictions?

Cause the Rockets know that nobody would want him, trying would just cause more problems...I think every GM in the league knows that T-Macs lost a BIG step in his game and is not as dominant as he once was....can't pay MAX money to a guy who's not all there...this team can't survive/compete with that handicap.
