and contributing members are what? i got demoted b/c i post critical articles of tracy and yao, and there's ppl on here who are blatant YOFs and get membership. so who cares?

i'm here to discuss rocket news. i never said it was confirmed or denied. i post so it's up for discussion. this is a discussion board isn't it?

and wasn't i one of the few who said adelman will most likely come here after the game 7 loss? it wasn't confirmed or reported at the time either.

People can discuss anything that comes in their minds. I think most everyone on this board (not named donkey magic :p ) wanted Adleman actually. And most everyone discussed it. But we dont post anytying saying 610 or ESPN reported it, unless you actually heard it yourself......Realgm is has no credibility here....I'm sure Clutch will chime in on this sooner or later.....

i agree. and that's fine. i just want to post any rocket news that is relevant. and since adelman did state he wanted to get some former/current kings players in his press conf. and the kings and bibby are not on good terms, it's a relevant discussion isn't it? and he did say he wanted more versatility and better finishers on this team didn't he?

i mean, not ALL trades that are discussed during the trade deadline happen do they? most of htem ARE speculations.

oh trust me, no one has any problems with u discussing it.....i think most are just pointing out that u goofed up by mentioning 610 and sportscenter, and did not initially point out u saw it on realgm.... ;)

Good for you. I'm not sure of all the rules on this board either and get flamed on a fairly consistent basis. As long as folks point our blunders in a polite way, I can learn from them. This is a bulletin board and adding Bibby is a relevant topic, even though I think it has zero chance of happening.

You think we can get Devin Brown for the LLE. He's not making much right now.

Exactly. That would simply be too good to be true. Not only that but Bibby has a trade kicker too so if he were to get traded that's even more money he would be losing out on by opting out for our measly MLE.

Yeah - that was totally a rookie move. Trying to pass off someone elses make-believe story off as his own is almost hilarious. Priceless.

AS FAR AS I CAN TELL...

THE BIBBY RUMOR IS FALSE!!! Didn't see it on Snope or anything, but, until some legit media source says otherwise, it's false.

I think if Bibby said he's opt out of his contract and pass on 18 Million, that'd make bigger headlines then we're seeing. So yeah, it's baloney. It makes no sense either. Who on earth would say that? Even if he really meant it, he wouldn't give away bargaining position by saying he'd play for the MLE before it's been established that's the best that could be done for him.

sooo not even 3 weeks into the offseason and posters are already resorting to posting bogus trade rumors.

I think some of the guys around here need to find another outlet for venting boredom and frustration...personally I prefer Photoshop

But we have a chance to get Bibby. I think all the Kings' guys wanna be in Houston because of Adelman. Hopefully Bibby will be a Rocket

    What about this senario?

He's giving the Kings an option to sign and trade him @ 8M a year multiyear deal. The Kings get salary relief of 12M for the next 2 seasons and get a player or 2 in return.

If they don't do it, he will threaten them that he won't opt out and they have to pay him $24M for the next 2 season. :D
