this trade is not horrible, u get more scoring options and creaters in the exchange for tmac the only creater on the team

 

we were a playoff team before tmac got traded here and 3 yrs, what are we now? still a first round bye team so change might be good

 

you call a 45-37 #7 seed a playoff team? a 2003 squad that hadnt been in the playoffs since 1999?

what are we now? we are a 50+ win team that is one player away from being an elite team in the West...

Agreed, anyone comparing this year's team to the 2003 team is crazy. Not only did we win more games and improve by three playoff seeds (record wise, even though we were the 5 seed), we did it in a Western Conference that is so much better now. Like Tmac or hate him, like JVG or hate him, the Rox are much closer to being contenders now then three years ago.

 

First round exit is still a first round exit. Trade McGrady.

Dallas got 67 wins if I am not wrong. Then what? Clipers at least second round last year.

 

Sounds reasonable in a video game. Think Clippers with a better frontline but no bench to compensate.

2 thumbs down, though I will give credit where its due. This trade, though stupid in itself, is not as stupid as the other proposals going around.

That's because Yao is better than he was three years ago, or maybe Battier. Look on last year we were worse than three years ago.

 

I guess that means Alston and Hayes = Everett and Ausmus 2
