A realistic proposal. I agree with your ideas as well.

Miki Moore would be the perfect candidate that would come for cheap. Radmonavic is like a space cadet, he has almost absolute zero positioning sense in defense.

Sure, why not. I'll throw an idea out there.

    Rockets - Wizards
    Battier + Sura
    for
    Daniels + Songalia + 1st

Rockets get the best combo-guard in the league who will split time with Rafer at the point, run the team when Skip is on the bench and possibly play down the stretch of games. A leader on and off the court, Daniels could be our Derek Fisher and play big in the playoffs. He also could mentor VSpan and Head. If Adelman is coach, he knows Songalia's game well. He is forward who is quicker then his size would suggest and has a nice offensive game.

The Wiz save money by cutting Songalia's contract and get a veteran, defensive guy to go with their offensive backcourt of arena and Butler.

    Rockets - Knicks
    Juwon + Rocket's 1st
    for
    Jamal Crawford

Rockets get a guy who can create and make his own shot, a proven scorer who is improving as a shooter (38% this season.) He is athletic and has the capablity to defend pretty well when he wants to.

Knicks cut salary point blank. They get a late 1st-rounder because of the difference of talent.

    Draft a forward, preferably a 3/4 combo.

    Sign McDyess as a FA

Resign either Deke or Big Jake

    Rafer/Daniels/VSpan
    Crawford/Head/
    TMac/Snyder/Novak
    McDyess/Songalia/rookie
    Yao/Hayes/Deke or Big Jake

I think that makes a quicker, more athletic, deeper and versatile team.

I had Jamal Crawford pegged as a chucker...FG% seems to show otherwise.
Anyone have a good idea of his game?

How about Yao Ming and Rafer Alston to Indiana for Jermaine O'neal, Jamal Tinsley, and either Danny Granger or Marquis Daniels?

That's too lop sidded in favor of the rockets. Daniels has equal value, if not more than alston, and Yao is worth way less than O'neal, Tinsley, and Granger put together.

They would be mad if they even looked at this trade.

I heard that he is a good PF but i dod'n see him in action

What do you think about Atkins? I know he said Houston is/was interest in him. He is a goog guard and he can really shoot the 3s. I think we need guys like him

i watched a lot of diogu in college, and even though he played for ASU, as a UA guy...you had to respect him.

atkins doesnt get me too excited but he does improve the pg position, in that whether he or rafer comes off the bench as a backup, it will be better than the backup the rockets had this year.

I'd personally like a guy with more size and shoots a little better

I don't know if Indiana is willing to part with Diogu, since he is the most valuable piece that got out the trade with Golden State.

as opposed to the camp believing we need a large overhaul of talent to win the championship...I am of the opinion we are only a few shrewd moves away from being a perenial contender.

for that reason I am an advocate of keeping our main core together and only exchanging expendable parts with other teams...

    that said...my trade idea:

    Charlotte Trades:

    Adam Morrison

    Houston Trades:

    Bob Sura

bring the stache to Houston for basically nothing. I don't think his value will ever be lower than it is now, and (for some odd reason) I think he would be effective on a team revolving around T-Mac and Yao.

Charlotte seems to be a huge fan of keeping an unneccessary amount of cap room handy, and we facilitate a nice tidy salary swap for a contract that expires next offseason (Morrison has 2 more gauranteed with a Team option on the 4th & 5th yrs), while at the same time freeing up a roster spot for their abundance of young talent. This offseason G. Wallace is a free agent and next season Okafur is a free agent, so the extra cap space can be put to good use by retaining what they still have.

If Morrison is a complete bust, it is not a big hit on our books as the final year of his gauranteed contract is a mere 3.8 mil. (5.3mil for his last team option year)

    - Radmonovic (great shooter, add to our offensive depth)
    - David Lee (over 10 rpg as backup, enough said)
    - Steve Francis (back from injury, back from the grave)
    - millsap (An upgraded chuck hayes)
    - j.r smith (heaps of potential, great 3 pt. shooter)
    - Mo Williams (great attacking pg)
    - Mike James (a bust after raptors trade)
    - Raymond Felton (another pg with heaps of potential)
    - Vince Carter (most likely not but high hopes)

just some players id like to see play for the rockets :)
