ummmm...yeah..rafer still sucks balls....just wait until the actual season starts. this guy will be destructive in his diarrehea shooting spree despite having a line up consisting of yao, t-mac, franchise, mike james, and a new delightful addition, scola. why we still have him on the roster is beyond me...where is this bandwagon you speak of? let me burn that thing to the ground.

How about asking Rafer, a non-shooter, to keep shooting?

I'll have to admit...if he keeps up the play that he demonstrated in the first two preseason games then I will ride that bandwagon all the way to the NBA Finals...however, i think it's way too early to decide if he will be the staring point on this team. Alston has shown great improvement and you can't hate on him for that. Let's wait and see how things turn out...with all the great guards we have...I think we will be ok.

IMO, it's safe to say Rafer will be our starting PG once opening night rolls around. He's made quite an impression thus far under Adelman

You can't drag me back onto the rafer bandwagon. He is an okay backup, but not even an ideal one imo.

I hope he does well, just as I wish any rocket does well, but I don't think his game is going to change. And he doesn't do enough to make up for his inabilty to hit a jumper or finish, not if we want to make some noise in the playoffs.

hmm.. sorry but after last season i'm still skeptical about how well he's going to fit in this system. sure he played well for the last two preseason games but they are only 2 games. if he plays better during the year then thats a reason to jump on or off this bandwagon. as long as he doesn't play the huge amount of minutes he did last year i'm sure he'll be alot more efficient. with that said all i care about is the rockets as a team doing well not just alston.
