Got to disagree with you on this one! Game has past him by. Need someone who can relate to the younger generation
and silas didnt quit when he benched alpi vs bucks eventho he was hot and inserted back thesis to lineup vs grizz the very next game?
Tilman willing to pay about $2 million for a coach CF's want a decent to good coach = $5 to $9 million (cost) I suggest CF's open up the tip jar to help Tilman cover the difference of $3 million to $7 million for the replacement coach or STFU
I’m not a Silas fan but some of these critiques are a reach. No one here knows how he handles the players behind closed doors and even if he is quiet, you don’t have to be a screamer and pop blood vessels to instill respect. This is like blaming all the coaches that have ever coached players who don’t mentally have it all and fly off the handles. There have been great coaches that have players who lose it. KPJ has been fuccin up since college and Wood has bounced around the league and blatantly quit in a game earlier this season. Silas probably needs to go, but blaming him for these two idiots going nuclear is not the reason why.
I'm going to ask you this and I hope you're honest. Does Silas look like someone who demands respect?
He looks like a goof ball to me. But my point with the post I made is that blame shouldn’t be shifted from the players. Last night was on two people and two people only; Wood and KPJ. Larry Brown and Rick Carlisle were the coaches during malice in the palace. Rudy had mad max and Scottie Quitten. Phil had Rodman who had multiple incidents. I agree Silas has a lot of things to work on as a Coach but I think he’s got enough real issues to work on to where we don’t have to fill in blanks or incorrectly assign blame. JMO.
Just because he is soft spoken and calm doesn’t mean he is meek. We’ll see how the team reacts to the latest KPJ/Wood rebellion.
Jackson is certainly not my first pick and he's not even top 5 for available coaches, but I would take him over Silas any day. An actual real coach? Sign me up.
This is a team that is tanking- Silas is here for the rebuild and thats it. Sadly he will live out his contract and not be renewed hopefully the rebuild would be over by then pending draft position.
What are you talking about??? Silas had been working his way up for 20yrs. This is his literal first gig. We've had interim's coach here longer than he has as head coach. Your problem with Silas is something else. He's not supposed to be franchise changing. We have to have someone named head coach out there though. Why are you guys so infuriated by a place holder? We are rebuilding. If Silas is still around when we start contending it's because they believe he's earned it. I don't think they'll wait around like they did with MDA to see if he'll finally change his lineup or actually call some plays.
