This woman is so pandering and self absorbed. I tried to think of what I remembered her from - and realized she is a conspiracy theorist that believes the 2020 election was stolen and believes in Qanon.

She is really trying to ride this moment into a higher political career… also her claim of Harvard being “so called elite” is out there. She went to Harvard, it was also her first choice for college.

Brain dead morons walked into her loaded question and the only thing more obnoxious is her telling us about it every 20 minutes.

Do you really get your information from X?

That's all you post. You seem pretty susceptible to swallowing bogus information without any critical thinking, based on your activity on this board.

You didn't used to be like that.

X has gotten so much better since Musk has taken over.

Better features, and, more importantly, freedom of speech.

That's why you leftists hate it so much.

Elise Stefanik is an opportunist who went from a Trump critique to one of his biggest defenders.

This is a thread that states that freedom of speech doesn’t include speech that is threatening and intimidating yet Musk has himself used and allowed very threatening speech on X. Further in X he has banned accounts critical of himself and threatened accounts of media services that he doesn’t agree with.

True. And just taking a glimpse at the discussions there, it's very easy to see why someone like @AroundTheWorld would enjoy it. The things you mentioned are what people who embrace and encourage cancel culture love. It makes sense for them.

I was just curious if they truly trust the information they are inhaling on that site.

This is probably better in one of the other threads about X / Twitter.

From what I’ve seen of It I don’t think Twitter or X has an overall bias. There is plenty of content from across the ideological spectrum. The problem I see isn’t that the platform is inherently biased but that there are inherent problems with the model. The short format rapid nature of tweets by nature removes any context or nuance. On top of that algorithms and self selection of who you follow leads to a narrowing of views because you are constantly fed content that reinforces, or more recently outrages you. Because of how fast Tweets can be released they basically become an torrent of information designed to feed base views of support or grievance leaving little room for reflection.

I think Stefanik's questions were fair given the political climate at these schools.

I didn't see all of her questions - but the ones that I did see were your standard "gotcha" questions politicians use to get sound bites.... I don't have an issue with the questions I heard.

This is another anti-vaccine conspiracy theorist BTW... I remember his name from a couple years ago. He also is weird calling himself a doctor, he isn't a medical doctor. He has a doctorate in computer based studied I believe. I have a doctorate, so should I go by doctor?

Regardless - he is very popular on social media, and while some of what he has said is utter hogwash, he does sometimes post interesting things.
