Just like you know trump barely squeaked out an electoral college victory despite losing the popular vote because Hillary was so despised, Hillary ran an idiotic campaign, and a crap ton of white people were mad about having a black president for 8 years. Whatever you think of Obama’s job, he was wildly popular, secured way more support of the popular vote than baby hands trump, and certainly would have been re elected has rules permitted. Obama v trump would have been a laugher.

The one thing that tells me how deeply divided we are is the perception from Trump supporters that this country was a hellhole under Obama. Obama wasn't perfect and there is certainly stuff to criticize him on. At the same time not everything is awful under Trump and up until this year I was personally doing well financially. It wasn't as though between 2016 and 2017 things suddenly magically improved financially when Trump came into office. For me personally 2017-2019 was pretty much a continuation of the last few years of the Obama Administration.
This is nice and all but it doesn't move the needle in a positive direction. All this does it remind some people that may have considered voting Biden to remember that they are racist as hell. This clearly snapped at least one person back to their reality in this thread.
I think you would be surprised that I think Biden polls better than Obama. There's a lot of racist folks out there that you would surprise you. I'm sure there's a lot of people that simply refuse to vote for Obama because of his race. Remember the young people didn't vote for Obama in the scale that made a difference. It was the black vote and the moderates that won it for Biden. He's doing just as good in both of those demos and probably even better with Republicans.
We came out of a recession/depression that George W. Bush started. Shameless Republicans conveniently forget about the Dub**** era. It's like totalling a Porsche and wondering why it's not winning any races anymore. Trumpists want to juice its engines and rip out safety gear for every drop of speed. By the time it flames out, the next mark will be forced to pick up the pieces.
Um the Obama Coalition would wipe the floor with Trump. It would be close. 365 and 332 in Electoral College. Obama still has the most votes ever received by a President - 69,498,516 and he beat Romney by 5 million votes (65,915,795) in 2012. Trump had a 304 Electoral College total with 62.984, 828. Obama lowest total of votes is still just under 3 Million more than Trump. With Trump's unpopularity, there is no way he improved on his based. Now this there will be more people voting in 2020, but Obama's margins and totals would be higher on the simple fact...he is not Trump.
Biden is going to get 75-85 mil. We will see 160 million'ish in total turnout. The black vote is coming out in massive drones. Look at the early voting data in NC, SC, GA. Its batshit crazy
because people hate Trump, not because Biden is such an exciting candidate...Obama would be getting even more votes
Obama was in over his head. The reason most of you don’t realize this was because you remained in your echo chambers, lapping up MSNBC and CNN “analysis” pieces. His foreign policy, economic policy and identity politics were all atrocious for the country. but he was great reading a teleprompter! (Not so much when he had to give a speech without one...)
