Jeff, take a look at Launchbar. It doesn't sound like a great app, but it's invaluable for me. After I paid for it, I cleared everything out of the dock. I just just use that to see what programs I have running. I use Apple + Space to open LB, and then "M" to launch Mail, "BB" for BBEdit, "PS" for Photoshop etc. And it learns the abbreviations you use. Well worth the money.
I thought about the Jaguar Fur background, but decided against it... just a bit too camp for my liking!
Just a note... DAMN, Bailey, that thing ROCKS!!! It drives me crazy sometimes trying to find websites I bookmarked or wierd little pieces of software I need - like the other day when I couldn't find my little freeware app that converts Win fonts into Mac fonts. This thing kicks ass! Thanks.
I know! You describe it, and it sounds OK, but not that useful or different. I'd heard about it a couple of times before I tried using it. I'd be lost without it now. And it's under 300k! If you're feeling adventurous, you can actually remove it's icon from the Dock, so it doesn't show up there whilst it's running. The instructions are in the help file. They don't recommend doing it, but I've had mine set up like that for 18 months with no worries. Anyway, glad to pass on the tip. You just don't get apps like that for the PC
It looks like you're trying to purposely cover up one of those icons! What's your dirty little secret?
Oh man.....Yeah, the window is covering up my wife and I real names. I guess I'm just paranoid. As far as Elbow Penis 2 goes, it's a music cd mix. The name is an inside joke. I can't believe I'm explaining this to relative strangers.
Dude, that's a picture of my friend's twin girls and their niece. I was editing out the red eye and left it there to show my friend. Perv.... Smeg, you mean you don't have my logo on your desktop??
Earl--- You have to have the image hosted somewhere. There are several places that you can have it done for free but I cannot recall which of them most people here use. I am sure someone can help me out with that. DonG--- Instructions for taking a picture of any screen. Once you are at the screen you want to copy just hold down ctrl and the print screen buttons on your keyboard. That saves the screen shot to the clipboard. All you have to do now is paste it into a picture editor and save it.
Nice pic Castor - thats from BOB right? I just got that on DVD. I am taking a week off soon, I will be watching BOB/Shield Season1 all week.
