I've made the same prediction at the beginning of the season. I'll be satisfied even if we lose tonight, given the circumstances.

I don't know about this team being our team. lol. We are not done rebuilding yet.

    Big up kid.

way to post clove, way to post......

my possitive.....the T-Mac Attack on the Spurs.....

I go to college and try and study as much as possible, so I don't watch as many games, just get on the BBS about 4-5 times a day and read. When I saw the site after that game, and I got the link to download the clip on my computer, I did. IT WILL NEVER BE DELETED FROM MY HARD DRIVE. I showed like everyone in my dorm, and we all had the same reaction...."how the.....NO HE DIDN'T.....HOLY CRAP!!" It truley was great.

Lets give our Rockets at least until the end on January before we start demanding heads. If were still not playing at least .500 ball by then, I may consider some personel changes are needed, but until then, lets watch and cheer our guys on.

The Rockets are 13-5 when ahead or tied after Q1.

No idea what "we" you are referring to. Unless you are receiving a paycheck from the organization, you cannot claim that pronoun.

I am positive the Rockets regular season record last year was 45-37, more or less the same as two of the three regular seasons prior to that.

Rockets are 14-0 when leading at the end of the game.

    really?

I remember we had several 4th quarter breakdowns....Maybe we built the lead in third.

If that is a true stat, it's pretty meaningful.

    I can't read.

I swore I read at end of half.

I should have known better than to read his posts.

Such insight. Must be a New Years' Resolution. An actual post that didn't have a Van Gundy reference.

Thank you. I am trying to stay positive in this thread in spite of pointless stats designed specifically to disguise the man's total suck-itude. Happy New Year!

Not the time or place, but there is no single source to any problems the Rockets are having.

Make sure you keep that positive attitude when we solidify that #8 seed. ;) Mutual on the New Years!

So what are the next steps for the Rockets in 2005?

Do they bring Barrett and Bowen from the injured list and place Weatherspoon on the IL because he has an injured hamstring?

McGrady's ability to draw fouls on the 3-point line is just sick! Didn't Bill Worrel mention that T-Mac leads the league in four-point play? Defender needs to honor his fakes outside the arc, otherwise he gets a wide-open three.

Anyone else noticed T-Mac improvement on defense under JVG? As much as I hate JVG's offensive system, he sure knows how to get player to play defense. Last two games T-Mac was shutting down LeBron and Mason.

With the much needed perimeter D from Wesley and good shooter in Barray/Wesley, this team can make some serious noise in playoffs. The only weakness now is a atheletic PF that can rebound/block/shoot an open jumper. With Howard/Taylor's shooting coming back, that may not be that big a problem.

With the Wesley trade, Rockets has an open spot on the roster. Do you think they will sign an atheletic PF from NBDL or something?
