The "Portland Sucks!" chant has got to go...where's our class?

    I agree. I didn't go to the game so I guess I shouldn't complain but it was embarassing when the crowd was yelling Portland Sucks. Of course, Portland sux, but come on, be a little original.

    I've gone to visiting arenas with my Rockets jersey only to get a thousand Rockets sucks comments. And since the Rockets won all I had to respond is that if the Rockets suck then team X really sux.

    Go ahead and give that one a try if Portland ends up coming back to Houston for a game 6. I'm sure everyone will love it.

    A lot of teams fan's do this. It's not like were looked down upon by the NBA for doing this.

    thats the whole point of going to the game....get excited get loud scream chants,

    Portland sucks,
    Lakers sucks...
    *team* sucks...these are normal chants everyone does, why are you trying to be all good & stuff..

    at least these are not f you chants...

    I think its because in the first game, when they were totally blown out, their fans started chanting "these refs suck, these refs suck." We were just letting the Portland fans watching at home know that it wasn't the refs, it was their team. At least we weren't like Chicago where they started chanting "Bull S**t" while on national tv.

    It is playoff! Damn! It have been many yrs that Rox really have a shot to make some noise. Let the fans vent whatever they like to pump Rox players or to enervate our foes.

    PORTLAND SUCKS! PORTLAND SUCKS! i chanted it in games 3 and 4 and will continue to chant it. No offense to the city whatsoever, just heckling the opposite team and having fun doing it. I guess to be more classy, we could say BLAZERS SUCK! but oh well, it is what it is
