The Plumber: Obama doesn't believe in the American Dream

lol, another example of self-ownage. The douchbag doesn't own anything and is the most obviously plant in the world.

Fox craps it out and some just eat it up.

 

As a supporter of Obama it's hard for me to give basso a hard time even though the thread is redundant.

It was a great answer from Obama. It showed several things which fly in the face of Republican talking points.

1. Obama does just fine without a teleprompter.

2. Obama doesn't change his message just to tell people whatever they want to hear.

Furthermore the answer clears up some of the misstatements and lies put out about Obama's tax plans.

Obama is actually cutting capital gains tax on small businesses, and cutting taxes for most of the small businesses all around.

So while this whole thing is very positive for Obama, technically basso should have put it in one of the other threads discussing this very same question and answer.

I'm surprised basso would want to highlight Obama's leadership this way, but it's his choice.

 

^Obama's a real smooth and engaging talker. I guess Basso just saw the lobotimized Fox version and decided, like McCain, that'd be enough.

As for Plumber Joe, the observer effect is in full bore now. With all that attention heaped upon him, there's no way he'd make an independent decision with all his buddies' eyes on him.

 

I wish I had a dumb name like Joe and a terrible job like plumber. I drank a sixpack tonight though, maybe I can just settle for Joe Sixpack

 

The very next time the toilet and bathtub in your ground floor apartment are filled to the brim with the solid waste of all your upstairs neighbors at 2:00 in the morning, it won't seem so outlandish.

I gave Joe the Plumber too much credit. He's actually full of sh_t. Joe may not have liked Obama's answer, but he in no way tap danced around the question. Obama explained clearly and specifically his tax plan and told Joe there was a chance he would have to pay higher taxes if he made over 250k.

 

Apparently the Plumber doesn't believe in voting.

 

So this guy is supposed to be the typical american . Dude isnt even making over 250k, so he was basically lying to Obama on that question.

 

I love it.

An unregistered and unlicensed plumber who doesn't make over $250k/year and owes back taxes to Ohio is worried about whether he can afford to take over his friend's plumbing business.

Joe the plumber owes back taxes! How is he going to complain about taxes if he doesn't even pay them.

 

That's the type of American model we all need to follow.

 

I bet Joe the Plumber sent his kid to local public school despite the taxes he owes the government.

 

Listen to the original video of Obama talking to Joe the Plumber. He says that if his company's REVENUE is above $250k, then he gets the tax increase. Didn't he mean to say if his company's PRE-TAX INCOME is above $250k? Surely he doesn't mean revenue -- there are a HUGE number of small businesses that do more than that in revenue. Pretax income is another story....

Obama is too stupid financially to know the difference between revenue and taxable income -- has he had a single day of financial training in his life? This is literally day one of Finance 101. And Obama doesn't know it. The guy is just a parrot of his handlers' talking points. The debate last night proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt. No answers, just canned mini-speeches that he's repeating from memory. Good grief this man is a joke.
