Has it ever occurred to you that some people's only satisfaction in life doesn't derive from getting laid? I would easily give up the 5-10 extra encounters with some random bar fly's up each year (after going through the program), for the chance to have an actual skill/talent like playing a guitar, knowing another language or freeing my mind.
I haven't seen any clips, but I know what you're talking about. There was a really cute girl that was new to our bar last night. I had no idea how to strike up a conversation with her especially when she was with friends. Of course, I was sitting next to a cute girl playing poker and had no problem at all flirting with her.
Exactly, I'm the same way. Luckily, I'm past the days of having to cruise the bars looking for a woman, but I can also relate to most of these guys a little bit. That's why I like this show. Not because I want to find out how to pick up drunk skanks in a bar, but because I'm pulling for these guys. Pulling for them to nut up and conquer their irrational fears. If you watch the show, it's really not about teaching the dorks how to get laid in a bar. It's more about trying to instill confidence in these guys so they can function in every day life. The 3 "douches" are constantly emphasizing this point to the dorks.
Not much of a surprise in terms of who was eliminated. The scene at the bar was kind of painful to watch. Pradeep cracks me up. But I wonder if the "compliance" trick Mystery taught him actually works?
