The Washington Post is reporting on the existence of antifa: https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2020/08/22/portland-police-far-right-protest/?hpid=hp_hp-top-table-low_portland-941pm:homepage/story-ans excerpt: On Saturday afternoon, a large crowd of more than 100 far-right activists, including Proud Boys and armed militia members, descended on Portland, Ore., staging a “Back the Blue” rally in front of the Justice Center that houses the downtown police precinct. Hundreds of antifa and Black Lives Matter protesters gathered to oppose the far-right crowd. People in the far-right crowd came armed with paintball guns, metal rods, aluminum bats, fireworks, pepper spray, rifles and handguns. Some people in the opposing left-leaning crowd brought rocks, fireworks and bottles filled with chemical solutions. Both crowds sported shields and helmets. The two groups sparred for more than two hours, as people exchanged blows, fired paintballs at each other and blasted chemicals indiscriminately into the crowd. People lobbed fireworks back and forth. At least one person was hit in the abdomen with a device that flashed and exploded, causing bleeding. more at the link
Congrats you found Antifa after how many months? Antifa does show up to far-right wing rallies. The question has always been around the claims they show up to BLM protests. My whole point is that you don't see these random Antifa folks showing up to towns an rioting like many here are claiming. @ROXRAN sorry Charlie.
If you don't think Russia is behind riling up Antifa, BLM, and even alt right groups, you've got to open your eyes. They're probably doing more than riling these groups up. These kids are so easily influenced on social media, it's sad.
not a whole lot of conversation about Antifa on ClutchFans these days Grand jury indicts anti-fascists previously charged in Pacific Beach protest violence https://www.sandiegouniontribune.co...sly-charged-in-pacific-beach-protest-violence excerpt: JUNE 7, 2022 7:57 PM PT SAN DIEGO — A San Diego grand jury has indicted 11 alleged members of an anti-fascist group in connection with several assaults that occurred in January 2021 during a Pacific Beach “Patriot March” organized by supporters of then-President Donald Trump. The indictment does not appear to add any charges beyond what the defendants faced when they were initially charged in December in San Diego Superior Court. But those initial charges were dropped Tuesday in favor of the indictment, which the county District Attorney’s Office said was handed down after the grand jury heard 13 days of testimony last month. The defendants were indicted on 29 felony counts, including conspiracy to commit the crime of riot. Experts who study domestic extremism believe the case to be the first time nationwide that prosecutors have used a conspiracy charge specifically to prosecute alleged anti-fascists, or “antifa supporters,” as prosecutors described them. more at the link
related https://www.penncapital-star.com/co...6-reveals-about-right-wing-extremism-opinion/ Trump, allies blame Antifa. They’re looking in the wrong place | Opinion In whitewashing the Jan. 6 insurrection by comparing it to the Black Lives Matter protests, Trump and his allies may have exposed more white than they intended Leaked documents exposed by The Intercept reveal “law enforcement offices across the country were sharing detailed reports of far-right extremists seeking to attack the protesters and police.” Trump’s own Department of Homeland Security issued a report detailing how white supremacists were encouraging followers to capitalize on the unrest by targeting the police with Molotov cocktails and firearms. The document went on to describe how “users of a white supremacist extremist Telegram channel attempted to incite followers to engage in violence and start the ‘boogaloo’ — a term used by some violent extremists to refer to the start of a second Civil War — by shooting in a crowd.” Vice News reported that right-wing infiltrators, “hardcore ‘accelerationists’ … were encouraging their neo-Nazi followers to go to the protests and carry out acts of violence against Black people.” Most interesting: In Las Vegas, three men who self identified as “boogaloo boys”, a far right group calling for a violent civil war, were arrested and charged with conspiracy to instigate violence at the protests against George Floyd’s murder. After a night of destructive protests Richmond, Va. Mayor Levar Stoney said white supremacists “marching under the banner of Black Lives Matter,” “spearheaded” the violence. Even as the evidence that right wing racists were taking advantage of the protests mounted, Trump and his right wing echo chamber focused the blame on Antifa. “Fox and Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade told his audience he didn’t “see any indication that there were any white supremist [sic] groups mixing in.” and parroted the company line by claiming “This is an Antifa organization. It seems that the first time we saw it in a major way was Occupy Wall Street. It’s the same mindset.”
the left is fully tribal at this point, the law is irrelevant, only raw physical power and wielding it against your political opponents this assault was all on video and they were let off
