Are division games that important since seeding in the playoffs arent really affected, and we play our division on four times a year?

Everyone is going to be salivating over CP3 (CP32Houston.com anyone?). But the GM getting canned reduces the possibility that he'll be moved from NO. I'm with you, there's NO way they will trade him to Houston (or Dallas. Sorry Mark C).

I believe he already stated his is forming his own Big 3 in NY (slipped out at Melo wedding).......

So if we traded for him, he is most likely leaving.

    1. I don't think he's getting traded. He's the face of the franchise in NO and trading him will make them not only suck but it will drive away any fans they have left. Basketball-wise, Darren Collison could help fill in CP3's shoes at a much lower price, but it would be a PR nightmare to trade CP3 away for expirings and no-names (our guys count as those outside Houston).
    2. Even if NO is willing to trade CP3, we can't make this trade unless we're sure he's willing to re-sign, which I think is questionable given his apparent preference of going to NYC. That's a lot of assets to give up for a 1-year rental, unless of course we flip him at the trading deadline (which defies the purpose of getting him in the 1st place).

Bottom-line: As much as we may all love Paul, I think it's a pipedream to get him here (even more than Bosh). :(
