If Ginobili wants to play with Scola, I think he's gonna have to join him in Toronto next season. ;)

28th overall in the League under Hollinger's PER rankings.

This month he's averaging 50% FG.

What is going on in this picture? The new Francis/Mobley duo?

Despite his flopitis, you have to absolutely love his scrappiness, and his offensive efficiency. If he could stay healthy and coach kept his minutes to around 20-25 per game, he could be a huge addition to a championship team. He is a big stage, big game performer. Great player, still.

just play him, like 20 mins, (most of the 4th quarter) and the rockets will have a nice addition, he still plays hard.

I think scola has a better chance of being a spur then manu going to the rockets

Agreed. I'm just waiting for somebody to tell me what wings close out games for us under this hypothetical scenario. Are we really brave enough to throw Manu/Martin out there at the same time?

And, yet, still has a higher PER than any Rocket currently on our roster.

I like this idea and we could call them something cool like the Argentinean Assassins or something.

Assuming he passes our physical, I'd definitely give him a 3 yr deal at MLE money. We are over the cap, and unfortunately, cap space in 2011 isn't worth much unless Melo and Denver has a HUGE falling out.

Manu may not be close to the player he once was, but for MLE money I'd still take a flyer. But we may not be able to outbid some other teams on the length of the deal though. I don't want us in a Mcdyess-Boston situation.

You guys are boxscore chumps man, you don't say no to the Legend of Manu. He'll swat you foos down like a bat on Halloween. Doesn't anybody make the correlation between Manu's slumps and Spurs losses? Fact is, the Spurs success, especially post-season, will largely be dependent on Manu. You don't skip a guy like that.

If he's cheap enough, absolutely take him.

Manu would be an excellent addition just for his leadership, hustle and team oriented approach. For the right price, hell yea...sure his numbers are down and he is declining but we are not asking him to be the Manu of old simply blend in with the squad and show the leadership he has shown with the Spurs.

Great suggestion and something Morey will probably explore.

we are not asking to manu to be the best player of the team, or the top scorer, but his hustle, leadership, would bring good things to this team, if we could get him, but only at a reasonable price something like MLE

He shoots better than Battier and Ariza, and if he comes on the cheap ... well we could do alot worse.

Aaron Brooks, me thinks morey will upgrade the PG and the C positions through transactions, whether it'd be trades or drafting players. please.
