Unfortunately Gay was almost instantly better than Battier not eventually

In his 2nd season he was averaging
    20+ pts
    7 rebs
    1.5 steals
    2 assists
and shooting at 47% FG all much better than Mr Invisible/Intangible

Two years ago, who would have guarded Brandon Roy or Kobe? Rudy Gay? lol

    Enough said.

Today, I'd rather have Rudy. But we all knew that even back then.

No way he would have put up anywhere near those numbers on the Rockets in 2007-2008. He would have had a much lesser role, and he would not have had as much development in his rookie year either.
