He would absolutely NOT be a solid pick up in our offense. To top it off, dude is washed up and done.

Oh, and his attitude flat out sucks.

His knee(s) are shot. Should Memphis move on, any team that picks him up is like giving money to a thief(even the minimum). Just retire and go join Mark Cuban. He has a job waiting for you I'm sure.

He has zero athleticism and speed anymore. he cant slash anything. His shot is flatter than Kyrie's earth and shoots abysmal percentage relative to his volume.

To top it off, dude hasn't been able to play more than 36 games and average over 20 mins a game in 3 years. He's only played 3 games this year. 3.

There is a reason why Memphis doesn't want him anymore, and its not because they dont need him. He sucks. I'd rather bring back the corpse of Joe Johnson instead.

Parsons of 4-6 years ago? Absolutely.

Not trying to bag on you but when has Parsons ever been compared to Kawi?

Their games are not remotely similar.

Early in his Houston career, Parsons was arguably better than Kawhi. Kawhi was all raw talent; he worked on his game A LOT. Chandler, as a 4 year player, was more complete coming out of college. It sounds ridiculous now because Kawhi is so good, but it was discussed at the time. I remember.

They can do whatever they want. They are paying him. They can choose to play him or not. Their organization realize that it hurts them more than it helps. And my guess is either Marc or Mike don’t want him on the line up.
Anyway is either sit and rot on the bench or he get bought out and no one picks him up. I’m sure he won’t want to lose any money, not even a penny.

You said they were compared which usually means they had similar had similar games.

They never had similar games and Keanu was always a vastly superior defensive player.

Also what does that even matter since we are talking about his value to the team now?

What a bum. All he had to do was play a few G league games to show if he was really ready to return to the NBA.

JUL 7 2016 Signed a 4 year $94.5 million maximum contract with Memphis (MEM)

JUL 13 2014 Signed a 3 year $46.1 million contract with Dallas (DAL)

DEC 19 2011 Signed a 4 year $3.7 million contract with Houston (HOU)
JUN 23 2011 Drafted by Houston (HOU): Round 2 (#38overall

    Total earnings so far: $101,896,408

That's it for your Parsons. Take your earnings and go retire somewhere.

EDIT: I still can't believe MEM gave a player coming off a knee surgery a 4 year contract.
    Year 1: 34 games played
    Year 2: 36
    Year 3: 3
All while average about 7 pts a game. 23 mil a year. SMH.
