good read especially for all the hyprocrites out there.....

    The silence was deafening
The Vatican Archives from the decade leading up to World War II were finally opened to researchers several years ago. But to judge from this careful study by a German scholar who was among the first inside, the only explanation for the Church's lack of protest in the wake of the rise of Nazism is self-interest.

Yes...clearly if you want to advance and live out the teachings of Jesus, Nazism is your ally.

When has the catholic church/vatican been about teaching the word of Jesus. Its all about power and money for them.

I don't think she was as Christian as you think. I may be mistaken, but didn't she kinda say she's agnostic?

She was a Catholic and extremely Christian. Her continued selflessness despite her claiming that she never felt God's presence was absolutely amazing.

I see. I thought I had read that she became doubtful of God's existance because ofthe atrocities she had witnessed.

    Thanks.

She wasn't in a position of power, so that doesn't exactly refute his claim that the church/vatican is about money and power.

They supported her mission. I'm not saying they are entirely about charity only, or always have been, but to claim they've never been about teaching the word of Jesus and only about power and money isn't accurate either.

She was doubtful. She said she never felt his presence at all. That's what made her all the more miraculous to me.

It is not unchristian to doubt. I believe it is part of the process.

According to the bible, even Jesus asked why his father left him/let him down.

I had a co-worker/manager tell me Muslims were a cult because they worship a human, Muhammad, as much or more than they worshiped Allah. I asked him about Christians worshipping Jesus instead of God, and he said they were one in the same, so it didn't count.
