Chris Whitley - great Louisiana-ish dobro/acoustic singer/songwriter.

T Ride - Former Satriani student Jeff Tyson's project - like Queen meets heavy metal meets White Zombie or something like that.

It Bites - big in England in the 80's but never made it in America - Peter Gabriel meets a big hard rock band - the guitarist/lead singer went on to tour and play with Robert Plant.

Ten Hands - Dallas/Denton, TX crazy funk band - Frank Zappa goes incredibly FUNKY - the drummer (an incredible mutha) toured with Seal and many others.

Animal Logic - Stewart Copeland and Stanley Clarke with a female singer/songwriter/pianist. Nuff said.

Awful Truth - Houston product from the 80's in the vein of Kings X meets The Cure. Rythm section went on to form the Galactic Cowboys.

Baby Animals - Cool band from Canada. Female singer is now married to Nuno Bettencourt from Extreme.

Niacin - Billy Sheehan on bass, Dennis Chambers on drums and bad ass B3 player doing 70's-ish fusiony jazz funk.

New Radicals - had one hit then went away - real cool pop stuff

Blessid Union of Souls - R&B meets rock and pop.
