This game will probably never happen. One of the guys that is part of Nibris (which is a new developer, never made a game before) posts on the IGN boards and always flakes on his promises to reveal new things about the game. He'll promise screen shots and then disappear for weeks. He'll promise game play video, come back without it, and ignore when people ask about it. The latest I've seen is that he posted a screen shot of the game running on a laptop, with an official development kit next to it. Basically showing that they had finally "made it" as a Wii developer and that their game wasn't just vaporware. Of course, the laptop image was so freaking tiny that you couldn't actually see anything (which goes along with the norm for them) and no further details on the game were offered. Basically, the only thing anyone has ever seen (or knows) about the game is what you saw in that video, which is very very old. I could film a full motion video with some of my friends and make it look like a cool video game idea, but that doesn't mean the game play will be any good at all, or that the game will ever even exist. I wouldn't hold my breath on Sadness, or Nibris as a developer.
A little heads up for those of you still looking for a wii. I was in the sugarland best buy tonight at about 8 p.m. and they had three wiis available. Guy that worked there said they had 5 to start and had been sittin out for about 2 hours. If you go by tomorrow they might still have 1.
That's too bad. It looked like a great idea. Hopefully devs will notice and borrow a little here and there.

BRAND NEW WII CHANNEL! EVERYBODY VOTES CHANNEL Go to virtual console and download. Its actually pretty neat. You can select a mii and add him/her to the voting list, and everyday or so a new poll is added to the channel. You can vote on it, predict the results, and see the stats on how your mii votes compared to the world wide average. You can even submit new polls to nintendo, although I am sure that............. I walked into Gamecrazy today while at HEB to look at the used games. The clerk was on the phone leaving a message for someone. After he hung up, he started complaining about people never answering their phones when their orders came in. So I asked what these people were ordering, and he said that they had to call anyone who signed up on a "call llist" for a Wii whenever they arrived. He then says "Do you want a Wii?". I wasn't even planning on getting one today, but I could not resist. I only have Wii Sports, but it has been a blast so far!
My Wii has been turning itself on lately. I will come downstairs in the morning it will be on or when I get home from somewhere. Is mine just strange or is that happening to anyone else?
I love the Tennis and Bowling game. The only game my girlfriend's family has right now is sports. (I'm a Wii leacher) Apparently, another controller is on the way. I've heard that you can tweak tennis to where it's singles action and not doubles. Is that true? I also heard you can play against yourself. How?
to play against urself..just set all 4 players to be you..i remember my bro doing it..pretty funny ..
i got tiger woods today, it freaking rocks got wii play as well, mainly for the extra controller. good game too though. it has a duck hunt like mini game which is fun
I cannot wait for an actual pool game to come out for the Wii. That'd be so much fun. Also, I can't wait for a good fishing game to come out. I've only heard bad things about the one that's out now.
I also got Tiger today. Most of the reviews are pretty much on about some of the problems the game has, but after a while, you can get used to it. A problem I had all day was long puts 45+ feet, but I think that was because on my backswing I needed to tilt my remote to go even further to get more power. There's no one to one motion which sucks...meaning your character doesn't swing as far back as you do, it does its own motion until you tell it to stop and swing. Anyway, I recommend it. Graphics could be better, but there's also so many modes and once you get the hang of it, you'll be caught up in the depth this game has. I can't wait to play one-ball with my friends.
Has everyone in this thread that was looking to get a Wii been able to find one yet? I'm kind of curious if they are still pretty scarce in stores or if supply finally caught up with demand.
My Brother-in-Law played mine last week and then just walked into Target and got one. They didn't have remotes, but they had several Wii on the shelf.
its all about luck (which i have yet to possess). I've visited all the big box retailers as well as eb/gamestop/game crazy... they all say the shipments are random and they get 3 at a time max. Also all the retailers say the next mass shipment of wii's will be at the end of this month.
