My Wii's number is: 5453-4900-7673-3039 Gonna add weslinder and Rhino now, ok they are added, but you have to add me to exchange our Miis. DD
I thought it might be a good idea to have all the Wii console numbers in one place, so I added it to a Google Spreadsheet: http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pqqpEALoU0k3MCVa79w1ZCQ Here's the data: I think I've made it so anyone can edit it, but if you just post your number, I'll add it to the spreadsheet.
I'm sure it's in this thread somewhere, but could someone give me a good reason why I should bust open the component cables for our Wii that I finally found? Does it really make a difference regarding the picture quality? Thanks in advance! (I'm staring at an unopened box!)
I went and got the S-Video cable and the difference is remarkable (and the Component will be even better). EVERYTHING is much, much clearer -- text is sharp (the news channel, internet channel, etc. is significantly more usable), and graphics in games are also notably sharper. You'll be glad you upgraded from composite.
mine is 7808 6544 1890 2927 tell me uve added me at emaadpervez@yahoo.com and give me your wii# also.
My wife played around on one at a friend's house and thought it would be a good family purchase although she has been vetoing my 360 request. Anyway, we got it because I figure it is better than nothing. I hooked it up last Monday night so the kids could check it out when they got home from school on Tuesday and then I proceeded to play tennis for 3 hours. Simply an outstanding little machine and I know we have barely scratched the surface.
I finally got a chance to add the people on the list. Feel free to return the favor and send over some Miis if you want.
A friend and I have been trying to buy a Wii for the past 2 weeks with no luck at all. I've called various Best Buys, Targets and Wal-Marts so much, I think the know my voice now. Anyone heard of any retail stores that have it in stock? Thanks.
I think your best bet is to go to Gamestop (or any store) and ask when the Wiis are delivered each week. When UPS drops them off, be there waiting. In Houston, no retailer has them in stock for any amount of time.
It took me a while. I don't think anyone is going to just have them in the store for long periods of time. The only success I had was by just calling all the game stores around me around 4-5 pm every day. Finally, one day, I happened to catch a Gamestop that had just received a box of them in. I've noticed that Toys'R Us seem to have more Wii-motes and Nunchucks than other places I have visited...maybe they keep stocks of the Wiis for longer as well. You could give that a try.
My girlfriend got one on Saturday (her step-father, actually). I haven't played it yet. I've seen him play it, and it looks awesome. I'm hoping for a snow day tomorrow (very possible...right now, there's a windchill of -28 and blinding snow...we're supposed to get 6 to 10 inches tonight), so we can stay home and play all day. I'm pumped to play.
For all of you new Wii owners out there: I was at Target yesterday and they had several Gamecube games marked down to $10. The two I noticed were Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Since the Wii is backwards compatable with Gamecube games and the Wii library is pretty sparse at the moment, this is a good way to get more use out of your Wii. No, these won't work with the Wiimote, you have to use the classic controller or a Gamecube controller, and you need a Gamecube memory card if you want to save your progress.
