I got my Wii a couple weeks ago, but for anyone looking for wiimotes or nunchucks, the Toys 'R Us on Fairmount and Beltway 8 in Pasadena had a crapload of each tonight, which surprised me because I hadn't been able to find any anywhere.

    **** YES

Today Nintendo adds one of the most popular games in its library of classics to the Wii video game system’s Wii Shop Channel: The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Nintendo adds new games to the channel every Monday. Wii owners with a high-speed Internet connection can redeem Wii Points to download the games. Wii Points can be purchased in the Wii Shop Channel or at retail outlets.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (Super NES, 1 player, 800 Wii Points): Return to an age of magic and heroes. When an evil magician named Agahnim begins kidnapping young maidens in Hyrule in a quest to break the imprisoning seal on Ganon, a young boy named Link is called upon to stop him. Link must venture into twisting mazes, dungeons, palaces and shadowy forests as he searches for the maidens and Princess Zelda. Traversing both Light and Dark Worlds, he must navigate eight dark dungeons, fighting evil enemies and huge bosses. Help our hero prevent Ganon and Agahnim from shattering Hyrule forever.

I am not going to sleep tonight.

    ...Link to the Past...

I beat this game after playing it 3 straight days with about 8 hours of sleeping combined. Thank God I can't get the frigging wifi to work on my Wii or my wife might divorce me after this week.

I've been waiting on Link to the Past and Ocarina of Time. I never had a Gamecube so could not enjoy it.
Guess I'll have to buy a classic controller now.

Ocarina of Time was on N64. Wind Waker was on Gamecube, and sucked (in my opinion).

The News channel is up now! Perform a Wii update first.

I got the HD cables today and hooked them up. The games look much better now.

Hey DaDa are you responsible for Sgt. Six? He was walking around my Mii parade the other day so we threw him in the plaza. Now when we play sports my son screams Sgt. 6 every time he sees him. BTW who exactly is Sgt. Six?

You have to have registered friends and then their Mii's have to be set to mingle. You also have to have your parade set to share online (not sure what the setting says exactly, but there is a setting on the parade screen that allows Miis to go from you to others and from others to you). The one above is the only Mii I have seen in my parade. If you need someone to add, look back through and add my number. Let me know and give me your number and I'll add you. I have a ton of Mii's set to mingle.

Just picked me up a Wii today at lunch. Stopped by Game Stop at 45 and the Beltway on the North side by Fry's. I asked if they had any when I walked in and the guy told me no, then asked when they would get some in and he said today as soon as UPS shows up. So I asked what time UPS usually gets there and about that time UPS pulled up. No contollers though, anyone know where to get one on the NW.

On the main menu there is a circle button on the bottom right hand corner. That is the message board. You have to register other Wii's there. You go to it then click the address book. There is a place to add Wii console numbers in the Address book. If you look back to page 29 you will see my number listed. Feel free to add me. However for it to work I'll have to add you too. If you want me to add you just post your console number (to find yours, go to the first page of the address book and click the left arrow). If you don't want to post it but want to use me to test it out, just email me your console thru the bbs. I'll add you and you can test out sending and receiving Mii's.

I should add that I've got a decent Yao Mii and a pretty good Willie Nelson one.

    That is AWESOME !!!

My 8 year old had a buddy sleep over, and Sgt 6 is the Mii we created for him.

Today, my wife is out of town with another mom and the dad and their 2 daughters came over so we got 3 more Miis on the system today....

Should be traveling over soon !

Lillypad, Elise & Smapdi...let me know when they arrive.

Did you send over Big Nasty, Mason & Justin? They are in my Mii parade !
